They really have made an absolute shitshow of this and it really didn't need to happen. If they were going to do this, which in course they have, it should have been communicated correctly and in good time to fans, especially ones in seats that were going to be affected. Saying they went along with fans views for fans in the Bradford end doesn't seem to take into account the couple of thousand fans in the midland road. I thought we'd moved away from this sort of thing but we still have the ability to piss our own fans off.

Which fans views have they taken into account.? A select few on the supporters board ? The supporters board should have made representation at the back end of April indicating this is a stupid idea. What planet are they on? But to ADMIT the club and this board didn’t even check the rules if the play offs were a potential outcome of the season is rank amateurish. They still have time to stop it before 9.00 in the morning.

 

All this proves is that the club - and those in charge - still aren’t connected to its fans as much as they like to believe they are. Far from it, especially now knowing that they made the decision without even letting the supporters board know

Also I can’t recall it been an issue when Sunderland visited us in the FA Cup. They got all the MR stand and from my recollection there were few issues (I might be wrong and blurred it out due to stubgate at the time) but maybe it wasn’t an issue cos no seats were restricted in other parts of the stadium like they are been now??

Having City fans behind both goals could prove to be an advantage. Might be the sort of fine margin which makes the difference between L1 football or another season at the arse end of the football league.
