Looks like a Take That reunion, and that's without the real money man behind Salford City Peter Lim.

Taking a risk not buying when you are guaranteed one as I don't think they will be swapping seats on Wednesday

Are you Marcos mate you can tell us? Has he gone into hiding because he's realised it actually hasn't been the success he thought it was and cant take the twitter mob on his back? If you don't like the whining stop reading the thread it's a forum if people are annoyed (and I can see why they are) they are entitled to say so if they want.

Personally I've just bought a different seat in the other end of Midland Road and it doesn't really bother me that much but it just comes across that the club haven't really given much thought to those home fans who may be stuck with sitting in seats they didn't really want to where everyone else is OK. There really wasn't any need for this we are playing Carilse not Man City.

Yeah thats the only way i actually saw them. When I went to look myself he had protected his account. Maybe didn't like to hear reality from his ivory tower.

I've seen how their fans are acting. There literally is no good way of doing this for them because they haven't got the loyalty scheme in place that their fans were calling for. I bet you could find about 500 Stockport fans who went to Gillingham and give them the tickets, after all if you can be arsed travelling down there.

It;s all about who is working shifts etc. If I were at Uni, I'd just go queue up for tickets and miss a few lessons. However if you work a full 9 to 5 job and you can't even ring the ticket office, you are screwed.

Gary Neville looks like a mannequin, you'd have thought over the years they would have developed "a stance" maybe they need a word in Victoria Beckham's ear she always has a pose for the paparazzi.

No insults old pal. You see that little grinning emoji next to my comment? That indicates it was meant in the best humour

And with regards the first question - TL Dallas is an awful stand to be in. Obstructed views and god-awful facilities for starters

The whole rules around ticketing and money allocation is utter bullshit.
Salford, the richest club by a mile, with the least fans, who will put the bare minimum into the pot, take an equal share out.
There record attendance 4518 against the mighty Leeds in the ELF cup. you could not make it up, they are massive.

I am convinced this is what has happened. Carlisle have been given 2440 tickets. Amazingly this is almost exactly 10% of current stadium capacity.

So neither TL Dallas or blocks F/G amount to 2000 tickets individually so they would have to have been given both, including the bottom tier of TL Dallas which I believe doesn’t have a current safety cert and or police didn’t want Carlisle fans there.
So, i guess we had no choice but to give them the only other segregated area in the ground

They should have done what they did for Reading and just sell all seats to anyone who wanted them on a first come first served basis. Not even giving a guarantee of a ticket to all season ticket holders.

I'm coming round to this view myself.

It's odd though. Yesterday, Orient arrived with more than 2,000 fans which were seated in exactly the same way has been done for League games over many years. Away fans are housed in Blocks F and G of the MR stand with part of E block partitioned off as a barrier between the two sets of fans and in the TL Dallas. That was all managed well even with the lower tier of the TL Dallas not being used. In the past when the likes of Sheff Utd have brought 2800 fans, the same system using the lower tier of the TLD has worked well. Why It's been changed doesn't make any sense to me.

In the past for some cup games - Arsenal, Leeds and Sunderland as recentish examples when a bigger allocation has been provided to the away fans housed in the MR - the rest of the ground has been opened up to all ST fans on a first come basis. That means that the inconvenience of deciding to house more away fans is shared around and not concentrated on just the MR fans.

The view from the middle of the upper deck of the Dallas is actually quite good,it's just shame those pillars get in the way of those at the sides, though it's not as bad as some would make out.

That's what I don't get about the bottom of TL Dallas, why have we gone to the trouble of putting new seats in there if it's not usable?
