    I mentioned in a post in the rumours thread that one of the things the development squad does is allow us to cover the cost of those fringe players whilst keeping within the FFP rules, keeps a couple of the match day squad covered by another part of the budget. Just thought it worth keeping in mind it helps us offset some of the costs of a viable first team squad. I think it is/could well be worth it.

    This is an absolute disgrace.

    Oh hold on this is a ‘negative’ vibe post. I am sure some of those on here (and they know who they are) will still be lauding the club’s direction!

    This is an utter waste of time.

    Rather than hoovering up loads of discarded players (perhaps they were discarded for a reason?), we would have been better with 25 solid professionals.

    There is some point in encouraging youth, but this was not billed as an Under 21’s (with a few older players) fixture.

    If throwing kids in for a slaughter is a good idea then I would like to know who’s it was.

    Embarrassing beyond belief!
