So 3 trialists today that no one seems to have mentioned so far:
Fawns - CM - Mason Fawns (Altrincham)?
Tilt - Winger - Chay Tilt (ex QPR)?
Booty - CM - Regan Booty (Hudders)?

 

Surprised with Bowyer's comments today talking about hoping players stay free of injury in these pre season games as we are not overly blessed with numbers. Do we have some injury problems already, or does he think the squad is not big enough yet generally?

If its the latter, he must be looking at signing even more players than I thought?

 

Quite a few names missing from the 2 line ups for this afternoon - no Paudie, McCarten, Palmer, Ismail, Longridge or Wood, but Riley and Colville both feature.

 

Of course you don't want to be picking us injuries in pre season. Pre season is about fitness. Why would you want players getting unfit??

He is fully aware we still need to do more business.

 

Hope they all do well.

Regan Booty - was on season long loan at Aldershot last season. Barnet came in for him towards the end of the January window but he stayed at Aldershot and was released last month by Town.

 

Interesting to see Sykes-Kenworthy is in goal for Guiseley this afternoon - possibly going out on loan there?

If we were to get an injury, can you still get emergency loans for keepers (or would we be able to recall him anyway as he's non-league?)?

 

Ex Dunfermline winger Myles Hippolyte on bench, presume a trialist?

 

I think so for keepers. I seem to remember one or two last season.

 

Still looking for wingers which is promising. Unlike some of the other trialists he seems to have played a decent number of games last season although only 2 goals and 2 assists but maybe he'll show up well. Fingers crossed for him.

 

Looks decent so far in central midfield.

 

A bit more experience than the others his Wiki page says he was a bit of a cult hero at one of his Scottish clubs
