again bronco, you seem to make derogatory posts about me and namecall yet do not tag me in your post. you could at least front up and say it to me rather than be a coward.

as I mentioned to you last week - please leave me alone. you consistenly seem to post messages to try and put other posters down, clickbait for likes if you will.

put me on mute if you do not agree with my post but you seem a bit obsessed with me. I'm flattered but I don't appreciate it, in all honesty - it's a bit creepy how much I seem to get under your skin.

definitely, not defiantly. that would suggest they did not want a new manager bounce, which I'm sure they would want. I wish our performances did too.

 

Nonsense. First time around, most fans supported the need for a change. Second time round, most fans saw the reality of the conditions being imposed on him. Not all fans - some fans stubbornly refused to see any wrongdoing in how the club was being run.
This time around, he'll be judged on what he delivers. Simple as that. And I think for the most part, judgement will be reserved until next season because the squad he's inherited has a number of problems and needs a window to start putting right.

 

Because the football is entertaining.

I think you'll find they definitely will given time something you don't seem to want to give Stuart.

 

He will be but if you want to judge him after less than a week in the job then crack on. Me? I'll give him some time to implement certain things and then judge him fairly.

6 shots in the first 15 minutes? We didn't usually get 6 shots in a whole game under Bowyer.

 

Parkinson did a great job, played to what he believed were his players strong points, very successful after his first season when his brief was to keep us in the Football League, season on season improvement followed, difficult to argue against that kind of performance, good enough to get Rahic & Rupp buying the club.

 

Your dislike of McCall as a manager is clouding your mind. I've not read anywhere that he's a miracle worker, more that the guy deserves another go as much as anyone else does. He will always have the goodwill of the fans and press, his demeanour and history at the club will always dictate that. He might succeed, he may not, but he'll always be 'McGod".

 

Enough time in some peoples eyes to completely change things around i guess.

we worked their 'keeper once in 90 mins. if that's entertainment then some are easily pleased.

 

I don't dislike him as a manager or as a person, as I've previously mentioned I've met him and worked with him in the past and I like the chap. I just don't think this is going to work out the way people think it is. As previously mentioned I'd love him to be a figurehead for the playing side under a technical / sporting director title and I think he'd excel in that role and take us forward, but as a manager I think there are and we're better options. Time will tell.

 

If you don't find end to end attacking football with lots of chances entertaining then football might not be the sport for you.

The only way it gets better is to increase the stakes and grab a big win.

 

We didn’t trouble the keeper enough, no, but we created more than under Bowyer.

Donaldson hit it past keeper but did so too heavily. Could have had tap in. Don also had a chance from a cut back from right hand side he put wide from 6 yards out.

Cooke should have done better with shot he blazed over first half. Connolly hit side netting first half and wasted loads of crossing opportunities all game.

Reeves will also be disappointed not to have hit target with his free kick, as will BRE with header he put wide second half from a corner. We need to be better with our corners..

If we arent working keeper you at least want to see us creating chances - which we did yesterday - than create nothing at all, which became usual under Bowyer towards the end.

 

The first half was a poor spectacle, the second half more enjoyable but still lacking in quality. None of this will be changed in a week, or a month, i'd expect nearer the end of the season when McCall works out a system to best suit the players currently at the club. I think the summer will see a big change around in personnel, only then will Stuart be able to impose his ideals on the team.
