I’m assuming it’s a 4-4-2 as previous SM teams, don’t want to see a diamond, expecting left-mid to tuck in or cover Wood going forward. Devine to play in the first 60-70 yards and just let Connolly attack.

Akpan, Guthrie and Middleton to come on at some point. Not too stressed about defending (on paper). Keep the ball, attack and take the pressure off the defence. I know it’s an ideal but hoping we get a similar game-plan to SM teams. Think SM will spend some time with Reeves to get in his head-space and find out what he actually wants...

It will be interesting to see what happens with Pritchard. Bit of a non-position player and ex non league, which Grayson didn't like. Don't see where he fits in really - hope he does, but just am not sure.

I would play him on the left he’s one of the best crossers at the club

 

Ive not been impressed when used on the left, I've read comments saying he could play the role Nicky Law did under McCall but he's a different type of player altogether. Much prefer him central where he has looked more of a threat. He played on the left at Mansfield and was completely anonymous.

 

He played well there earlier in the season lacks a bit of pace but has a good cross. But I agree he hasn’t played well lately

Eldest has come back from Manchester Uni this weekend as well so he can go to the game!!!

 

One of the first games since probably Millwall at Wembley that I'm really upset I cannot make. The place is going to be rocking come 2.55. K-Block getting the flags out again it would appear from twitter.

Hopefully, this buzz around the place is here to stay.

 

I have a fear that if we open up tomorrow, we'll get picked off. For the new boss euphoria , the fragility of our squad could well be exposed.

Sorry to be the pocket of doom but to remedy the ills of our squad, the fitness, tactical awareness, movement and shape, is it really going to be fixed in 3 training sessions.

 

Devine won't be playing and certainly won't bre playing right back. Whatever the weaknesses are of our two RB's they're still both stronger there than Devine.
