    I'd bet Micheal Collins didn't want the job but knew he couldn't turn it down and stay in what was his present job, Edin could have ruined a good career.

    I was, more because he’d talked longer term plans and the fact he walked with no other job on the horizon was the lightbulb moment for me (not that it was far off that anyway).
    Suggested there were bigger issues than just the players.

    Grayson with Rhodes and Lawn at the helm would've been a certain promotion. On the other hand Stuart wouldn't have been sacked in the position we were in.

    If Grayson was that good, he'd be managing right now - instead of tittle-tattling

    I was very pleased when we got him, but very unimpressed with his man-management skills

    Rahic's error was not getting Hopkin in the summer - it wasn't his failure to listen to Grayson

    Stuart was questioned, because we lost numerous matches on the trot and there seemed little prospect of improvement. I'm please he's shown that he has the ability to reverse a bad run - as he's now shown at Scunthorpe

    Staff in all walks of life have to face up to their own responsibilities it can't always be "the bosses fault", i.e. Stuart was culpable to a certain degree for that downturn

    How is it tittle-tattling? Jim White asked him a question and he gave an honest answer? Grayson was the best available out there his record speaks for itself. If Rahic backed off and let Grayson take control we wouldn't be at this end of the table.

    Why does leaving mean he wasn't that good?

    Good managers don't accept garbage conditions, end of story. Not sure what logic you re employing tbh.
