All the fans who questioned Stuart McCall should give their heads a good shake, what a pr!ck to work for.

It was only a matter of time before it came out into the open, thank goodness it was Simon Grayson as if it had been Stuart or James Mason some would have said it was them having an axe to grind.

 

It’s absolutely staggering that one or two still can’t see the blindingly obvious. We’ve been through it before, a club in good health and good league position now fighting for its league one future and in complete disarray off the field. As Roger Owen alluded to, it will take years to mend the damage the fecking idiot has left behind. Stuart couldn’t turn it around, a proven league one and championship manager in Grayson couldn’t make a dent in it. Parky got out at the first opportunity.
Nobody could have turned the FGS (HMS) Rahic around, not when Admiral Edin was at the helm. And we’rw now left to pick up the pieces.

 

The Irony here is that it should have been Rahic stood at the ticket office, having rotten fruit and Veg launched at him !

 

Not that we didnt already know, but McCall is also now confirming the same thing as Grayson regarding Rahic wanting to pick the team.

Wierd to think how many on here defended Rahic to the hilt.

 

Sorry I give up, Grayson clearly says Edin interfered and that was one of the reasons he did not want the job, so I put it to you if an outsider who has no axe to grind makes those sort of comments in the relative short time he was in charge just think of the pressure Stuart was under Edin looking over his shoulder and offering his input into football matters.

Yes the owners at Scunthorpe obviously have more faith in Stuart after a few bad results even with several of his better squad players out with injuries, shame Edin didn't do the same but he did not want anyone at the club to be more popular than himself.

I totally agree with your high lighted comment, unfortunately in this instance "it was the boss to blame", what would it take for yourself and a few others to believe 99% of what was wrong with our club was down to one person Mr Edin Rahic, a signed affidavit by Edin himself.
Watch this space I believe far more will be coming out in the near future, I'm sure some still wont be able to see the wood from the trees.

 

Grayson might not be some people's cup of tea me included but Fair play to him for not accepting what was been offered just to be in work because he knew the man above was a complete tool.

 

I wasnt particularly disappointed when Grayson left, but it did clearly indicate just exactly what a mess the club was in under Rahic, and that no manager worth his salt would stick around under his interference. Grayson leaving, having started with us, told us all everything we needed to know and was subsequently confirmed. Now were faced with an uphill battle to survive Rahic's legacy

Could also have been Jacob Hansen. I went to the Chairman's Launch event for Matter of Heart. Edin sat chatting at my table and said quite openly to me that Stuart should be playing Hansen at right back instead of Luke Hendrie, because we should be prioritising our young prospects, turning them into first teamers and selling them on to finance further young acquisitions.
I recall thinking at the time it was extraordinary that a Chairman would openly criticise his first team coach's selections in a casual conversation with an ordinary supporter.

 

I just don't know how anyone could have got it wrong regards Rahic.

Thankfully, only a small minority couldn't see the man for what he was.

 

How is it tittle-tattling? Jim White asked him a question and he gave an honest answer? Grayson was the best available out there his record speaks for itself. If Rahic backed off and let Grayson take control we wouldn't be at this end of the table.

 

@banbrotam You say 'it can't always be the bosses fault' and that staff are 'culpable', but the one thing an overbearing boss can achieve (aside from demoralising everyone and stifling creativity) is that basically, what they say goes.

Rahic set the course and general direction, Stuart steered the ship as best he could under those directions.

We hit the rocks.

Its pretty silly to blame Stuart for being 'in control'.

 

According to @Park bantam it doesn’t matter who runs the club, it’s the manager and fans fault we are where we are.

 

We all know who the head in the sand gang are on here, who wouldn't hear a bad word said about the w@nker Edin, shame on the fools.

 

well this comes as a major shock to me, I had NO IDEA anything untoward may have been going on with the running of the club.

I'm guessing that's at least partly because he didn't agree with the recommendations that were being put forward to him. He was pretty fast last summer though wasn't he? With no manager in place, he was hoovering up players like someone with OCD and look how that turned out....

 

Most Intersting point surely is that Grayson is still without a club? That says a lot about the championship manager?

 

I would have loved to have gone to the ticket office and thrown rotten fruit and veg at the tossers #oneofedinsbetterideas

 

the fact you still think McCall can be blamed for that tells us all we need to know with regards your basic understanding of our club, and football as a whole.

Grayson basically ripped us off. If he felt so strongly why not walk?

He strung us along for months, collecting his salary, knowing he had no intention of staying.

He’s as bad as Edin in my eyes. Mercenary to say the least.
