Grayson deal nearing close

I think no matter who it is they either do a Parky or a Taylor, Jackson, Hill failed at Barnsley but it doesn't mean he'd fail at Valley Parade.

 

I imagine he values his sanity, rather than trying to knit fog for Edin

Inexperienced but I think Flynn would be decent Craig Bellamy if he could be persuaded. But I still hope Grayson stays

 

He would be great but someone said he had signed a five year deal at Rochdale

 

Keith Hill, great fit for Rochdale, just cannot see him doing well at a bigger club, with a much more demanding fanbase and ambition. His remit at Rochdale is to try and have a good cup run, and avoid relegation. He achieved both for Rochdale this season, and fair play. However, when given the chance at a bigger club in Barnsley, he was not a success.

 

Don’t agree with that he has continually punched above his weight and has a history of bringing young players through. I think it would be a great appointment

 

Never mind one week to go, it looks like we'll be searching in the bargain basement from the off so the sooner we can get in there the better.

Not for me he's great in his comfort zone but struggled out of it.

 

All that means is he failed in one environment. Rochdale have overachieved the whole time he has been there and brought through youngsters. Won’t happen but he would have been good for us

 

If being great in his comfort zone equals finishing 20th in the league one point off relegation I'll pass thanks.

 

I was really disappointed he didn't get more out of the current squad given how Stuart had had them playing. He failed to live up to his own expectations of getting us a play off berth and the football was dire.
