Managerial appointments are fickle in football. Grayson stock went down sharply at Sunderland. And even further now here. Before you say Sunderland are a basket case then why did Grayson think it was not at the time? It only turns out that way now.

32 games in season 2017/18 and he won 6 if memory serves me right.

It happens to the Greatest, Jewell example. You are only as good as your last job. Two and your pushing it. Three and its game over.

He won't struggle to get a job at this level, he was doing a decent enough job at Preston in the championship, in hindsight he should have stayed there but even with the risk attached to the Sunderland job, it was to good to turn down. Jewell proved to be one hit wonder like many a manager over the years, Graysons success at this level will with doubt ensure he will not be out of work.

I'm not sure he realised how rotten our club was, he probably thought we were just having a bad run and could turn it round to add to his collection of promotions from this league. To me he realised we were poor and some didn't want to play for us. He's now had a good look at who he wants to stay and already knows who he wants to bring in and if he stays I'm very confident we will go up. The football under him has been dire but the squad is dire and half of them don' eant to be here and aren't putting the effort it. Next season if he stays the football will be a much better proper 442 with players doing their job.

It was you that said you had heard he had upset the sponsors. So I was just asking if it was the same sponsor that it was rumoured had threatened to withdraw their sponsor ship. I'm asking YOU who YOU are talking about. I'm not suggesting anything. I'm ask YOU what YOU are saying. Surely it isn't too tricky. I'll simplify it for you.

Which sponsors are YOU saying that Edin upset?

To be fair with him living in the Skipton area if he is sucsessful (assuming he takes the job) he could be here for several season like Phil Parkinson.
Although with his recent managerial jobs he's had Skipton is a great base, Leeds, Huddersfield, Preston, Blackpool, now Bradford City ?.

Give him want he wants and we have a decent chance of hitting the playoffs.

If Grayson is to stay then it's only because he won't get a Championship or top half Div 1 side.

He is finished like Paul Lambert.

    Learn to move forward.

It was Mitton, JCT600, can't remember the other one, but then pissed Tiffin's of by turning down a very lucrative deal for the sake of £30k, Tiffin's were going to renew all the kiosks revamp them with their name/logos etc and give the club a guaranteed income over 4 years.

Thank you. So it was the same sponsors that were rumoured to be so upset that they were withdrawing their shire sponsorship, which has turned out to be untrue as they are still on next seasons shirt

Yes we realistically put an end to anyone who thought Paul Lambert could manager a football team :p, it still amazes me that other desperate Premiership clubs are prepared to give him (and others) a chance to pull their team out of the mess they've been in most of the season.
Rather ironic that Stoke were 18th in the Premiership when they appointed Lambert 15th January and are now 19th were they look like finishing.
And we appointed Simon Grayson on 11th February when we were 6th in league one and look like finishing 8th at best and 12th at worst.
No guarantees changing managers mid season especially if said manager is not prepared to commit longer term.

would this be something similar to the club and stuart saying last summer everything was dandy?

When anyone with more than two brain cells knew it was not! Yet because nothing materialised at the time, some resulted in calling it bullshit!

if not please explain, if dont know then dont shoot the messanger

The proof will be when the new shirt comes out. If their name is on it then they didn’t pull their sponsorship. If it isn’t then they did.

Suppose we will have to wait a few more weeks

No it wasn’t which is why I called BS straight away but people were still banging on that both had pulled their sponsorship from next seasons shirt.
