Grayson 10 weeks in charge - 10 game review

Yes, was there but 1 game out of 10.

This is a man that was wanting to take us to the Championship but has made us worse.

1.85pts a game but they are also the same group of players who lost 6 or 7 games on the trot and were let's be honest, truly diabolical during that period. Point is, they were poor before Grayson came in and they are still poor after his arrival. That tells me that the problems run much deeper than the manager. It is perfectly possible for a squad to punch above their weight and all the signs were there that we were doing exactly that for the first part of the season. I'm not saying Grayson is the messiah but by demanding results, attacking football etc we are effectively asking him to overachieve with a group of players who at the moment, regardless of early season form, look completey incapable of performing and did so well before Grayson arrived at the club. The mess we are in at the moment goes back to last summer for which Graysin had no input in the situation, so it's a bit harsh to judge him until he's had his say in the matter

For being a soft arse where player recruitment is concerned.

Any player he didn't want he should have told the owners to sod off. McCall should have been stronger.

But it doesn't change the fact these players are taking the piss.

 

And where the feck are they, following the promotion he achieved with them eh?

My beef is with the board accepting his short term contract demands, I wanted a manager committed to BCFC and in it for the long haul, but i've seen a number of posts asking who are the better alternatives to Grayson and (me included) as yet I've not seen a single post actually commit to a name.

 

Oh that is bull shit.

 

Make no mistake about it that Edin is to blame for this mess and even now we've gone from
a manger that wants to play football the right way to a manager that wants to play a dire way.

We've no plan, we're a mess.

 

If Grayson leaves then it's most likely because edin has given him a shite budget to work with. Either back a manager like Grayson with a competitive budget or find a manager who's happy to work with scraps.

 

Oi numpty I put the blame at the OWNERS, MCCALL AND ABBOTT.

McCall knew he was on a hiding to nothing, so should have walked at the end of last season and told us fans what is going on with our club.

But no, he tried to carry on got sacked because he was sold down the river. So he kept quite got sacked, paid out. Sell out. Just like any other manger. Night night.
