Sorry Hudds, but again, without some sort of evidence to back up your statement, it's just your interpretation. Did McCall need the money? Are you aware of the interference Parkinson is having to deal with from big Ken at Bolton? If the money is right, you put up and shutn up. Something McCall wasn't prepared to do.

 

But those players you listed are all development squad players? So Stuart wouldn't necessarily have known about them.

Change of style was one of the reasons given for Lunds release. At Rochdale he scored plenty of goals something we don’t get from our attacking midfielder. I would like to see him here next year

He is. He wasn't signed as a first team starter. He's ended up playing because Poleon & McCartan have been awful.

Urban soldier, you are the one making things up to suit your agenda. You are spouting stuff you know nothing about, it's just hearsay. McCall stood his ground when the board wanted to sack him a year earlier, remember? The poor run, ( IMO due to circumstances out of his control) together with the boards insistance that he couldn't handle the "big games" gave them the opportunity to sack him. At the same time, they also had the opportunity to BACK him but they decided not to. Again, IMO, the fact that McCall wasn't prepared to tow the party line, resulted in his sacking.

 

He was signed for the first team squad and given squad number on signing.

Ok, now we’re getting somewhere. This makes the first half of this season far more impressive . Grayson is old school and will not get us promoted, I don’t have the answer but I don’t want to wail away from VP every other Saturday thinking what a shite game that was. I want to see players with the ball, moving it and players moving. I don’t want a long ball and hoping for the second ball. I want entertainment, is that a problem
