Get out of this club

Absolutely couldn’t agree more -‘for things to change it has to be the lot. Hughes goes great but it’s still Rupp and Sparks handling the managerial recruitment process.

Rupp has not invested in the club for 3 years. He is clearly disinterested. With our fan base and potential surely there must be some interest in us.

Sparks - he must have something on someone. How can you go from being a social media agency account handler to CEO of a football club. Even on of his old manager's is baffled by it... the day everyone found out it was like... eh! How did he get that... he's not exactly the sharpest tool in the box... something odd here.

Hughes - I don't agree with what some are saying and saying he's a top drawer manager - his work at Stoke etc showcase that. No... sometimes people are just past it... they think they have something to offer but actually they are deluded. I just don't get from Hughes that he cares.

Plus I also think he's dug himself into some right holes, the Jake Young situation showcases that. But the way Hughes keeps sticking with 3 at the back with defence lacking pace is like football manager basics... you can't play 3 at the back without pace.

Smallwood - and Gillead - the worst midfield pair we have had for a long time. And I include Josh Wright in that. Midfield is the number one easiest thing to get right in a squad - get someone who is a leader, vocal, passionate, can pass and understands how to pull the strings in midfield - Gary Jones did that, even McCall was great at that... the middle of the park for BCAFC atm is laughable.

Ultimately we need a root and branch clear out from the owner to the CEO and manager and we will only get that when we don't have cowboy owners and one thing Bradford has always attracted is that - we need a corporation or investment fund to take interest... at least they will pour money into the club, maximise its potential and take us up a level before selling.

Sad isn't a fan base like that being taken for mugs ........... yet again ........... You put another club same size as us and they wouldn't be messing around here for long.........how many years now ???? 4/5 And we ain't any closer of getting out of this league .............

Rupp needed to go then. Just as bad as Edin. Sparks as CEO is a joke! And we wonder why this club is a failure! Fans at this club really need to get a grip and start understanding how this club is going backwards under the current organisation set up

 

Sparks - the social media agency account handler. Described by his bosses as not the sharpest tool in the box. The Manure fan who got wet when an email arrived from Hughes’ son. The guy who drives a 4 litre obscene Audi. He’s a double glazing salesman at best. He typifies everything wrong with our club - we do it in the cheap, don’t value experience and it’s a white boys club where nepotism and mate hirings are rife. Take the new logo work - utter shambles. Any branding expert will tell you that that should have been a five year project with slight changes made over time. Not a massive rebrand with a crap logo designed by a guy who is an art worker at best and doesn’t understand brand.

Then our owner - all he has done is preside over 10 years of failure - 10 years ago we had something to build on and it has been slowly destroyed.

but don’t worry though - we’re a massive club with a big fan base.

Hughes should’ve gone last year followed by Smallwood and all the other dross he brought in.

 

Sparks was a chancer. He says he would have left under Edin but didn’t and knew Rupp was just as bad as Edin but didn’t care for for the club. Rhodes who was just an accountant and cared about the about the bottom line, so he knew keep Rhodes sweet and he is in for that position.

The club is a joke. Everything it does smacks of cheapest and being lazy. Hiring Hughes was lazy. Oh look I have something in my spam box.

We even now have an awful home top that looks like a rugby one.

If the club operated correctly we wouldn’t be in league 2 and wouldn’t be in the mess we are in.

Rupp is to blame! Needs to go!

 

totally agree - the new home shirt sums it all up - a disaster of a design - tossed off bu a company who couldn’t care less and chosen by a management team who don’t have a clue.

let’s just hope that when the inevitable happens and Rupp goes that we’re not playing non league.

 

If we do go down the shirt will suit that league.

 

Embarassing thread. We're 4 games in with 4 points. Do you think Stockport and and Wrexham fans are calling for their manager's head after 4 games and an underwhelming start?

When did our supporters become so entitled? Do people forget how rough the last 20 years have been except the Parky years? And even Parky didn't blitz league 2 first try.

 

You use 2 teams who have just spent years in the non leagues, of course they won't just yet they're grateful just to be back in the league. Try again

it’s hardly embarrassing - in fact your attitude of just bury your head is why we are in this position - 10 years of utter crap - I for one want better for this club and yet again I’m seeing failure failure failure backed by poor decisions and cowboys in position of power.

I’ve had enough of it.

But let’s play a game shall we - let’s see if anything changes in the next three league games and we can at least get 6 points - I bet you we can’t.

 

Not disagreeing with any of the rest of your post but Gary Jones never "pulled strings" for us in midfield, he was a leader for definite but Nathan Doyle did the playmaking for us in that side. Doyles passing, discipline and positional sense enabled Jones to get forward, play box to box and drive the team on. Very underated player for us in that side was Doyle.

 

Well regardless of who did what, it's missing and it is a reason why our midfield is garbag.
