Not sure how much longer Taylor will survive in that job. Some revelations come out yesterday I think in telegraph about funding and his son receiving payments. Surprised in this day and age the top players don’t demand some better representation than the PFA

You say start next month season in November but owners are coming out and saying no one cares about transfers at this moment. As I say does anyone care about transfers? And why wouldn't you just end this season in September and then start next season in November? Just ending this season makes no sense. None! People are not going to rush and buy season tickets when many find themselves in a difficult financial position.
The problem with next season at this moment is a lockdown can happen again next winter? Then what? Also if a player gets corona virus then what?
We need to solved the problems of this season to concentrate on next.
Also I think many would take a little bit of football, sport soon as it's a sign of hope getting us through this thing. A little bit of enjoyment even if it's behind closed doors.
The PFA are a joke. I agree with you on that.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

Like it or not the EFL, FA, government, the footballing bodies, tv, Bookies will need to help sporting clubs out.
We need to figure out a solution to this season because next season is something that can be moved to any date. Fans won't be rushing to buy season tickets when many can't or won't be paying their mortgage. It's not easy as just saying forget this season and move on to next.
Behind closed doors (unless mass gatherings are allowed) get the season finished and give us something else to talk about than this virus when the time is right.
My feeling is with a few key boxing matches rearranged for July that sport will be back in the summer hopefully.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -
I can’t see us going from another month or so of this lockdown to allowing 60000 plus people together in one place to watch a boxing match. It will be a slow releasing thing when we come out of lockdown. Cinemas allowed to reopen. Restaurants etc. Get them done first, assess the spread and then bigger sporting events to follow -
If it levelled off in some way would be nice -
All so far the British F1 is still on which is in July.
However, your point makes talking about next season seem even more stupid because we just don't know what's what and talking about something that can be moved and hasn't started is just pointless.
Those wanting to just think about next season have an agenda. No reason we why next cant end this season before the start of next or just finish this.
I admire Liverpool, Leeds, Coventry and Swindon throughout all this because these clubs are staying quiet and not driving agenda's and I hate praising Leeds but it's true. I have had my run ins with @Swindon @Swindon_1969 ans @Wellens’balls etc but their club is acting classy at this moment.
The fair thing is to end the season no matter when that is!Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -
However, if you're unfortunately right then yes we will be looking at next year which puts massive question marks on football in general for 12 months, so behind closed doors as to be discussed and seriously looked at for all sports barring tennis and a few others.
I just can't see the Tv and Bookies just sitting down and waiting for a year for sport to start. It's not going to happen.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

The change for May to July would have been discussed with the government.
Sporting bodies will be talking to the government on a regular basis.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

All sports will be talking to the government but the government won't come out and say anything because we have to stay inside.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -
All Sporting bodies will be in communication with the government. Boxing haven't just rearranged the dates in July for nothing.
Also the government or sporting bodies won't come and to say yeah we should rocking and rolling come June/July when they want us to stay inside.
The boxing dates might change again but we all can't stay inside forever.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

This lockdown could happen again in November? Then what?
I just don't see the point in concentrating on next season. The chief reporter on Sky has just said PL clubs are not even thinking about next season or the transfer window. Fans will not be thinking about season tickets when most are thinking about their finances now.
I just don't see the point in thinking about next season at all. Let's give people hope we can get a little bit of the light at the end of this dark tunnel.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -
Why would clubs not be thinking about next season?
Another advantage of deferring to a November start is that you can plan contingencies in advance - reduction of cup competitions, remove the mid season break, pricing structure for any games that need to be played indoors, you can build clauses into commercial contracts etc.Stop hovering to collapse...
