Were the fook did Cook get the energy and pace(ish) torun that far and beat the defender to the ball?

Cook's sprint began in our penalty box from the looks of it!

He's just so fast, nobody could catch him

 

I know it may seem daft but Cook took it well, he knew he was not the fastest and could possibly hear they were closing in on him so took a final touch to control it then pushed it into an open goal.

Just sounds composed and relaxed.
It’s obviously easier when you win but for the last 3 games he’s sounded very similar.

 

Thinking about both games, we defiantly deserved something from the Swindon home game and rode our luck at times today, as it turns out where we may have been happy with a point from each game I'm delighted with all 3 from todays game.

 

100% agree. His overall demeanour even as I am watching and listening via IFollow and the radios, the performances he is already influencing and to hear how he articulates himself, it’s almost a ‘sense check’ feeling that we have this guy managing our club.

 

Really enjoyed that. Obviously a great result but a good performance too. Bit lucky with some of the last ditch defending that could've gone the other way on another day and we didn't create an awful lot but for once we took our chances. Clear what Hughes is trying to do and how he is trying to have us playing and with quality additions in the summer, the signs are promising. For the first time since August though, the players look like they actually believe too.

 

Looks like @Rcbantam will have to stay silent - which will be a rare moment!

Great performance just a shame Hughes wasn’t brought in earlier as for FGR they must be doing something right in other games because on both occasions we have played them they have looked terrible ............... I mean they are top you wouldn’t think so they way they played and the non attmosphere from the home end .......... just another IKEA built club was no soul or anything

 

Songo'o was typical Songo'o yesterday. Always putting his body on the line with some last ditch blocks and tackles but positionally suspect and atrocious in possession.

I don't know whether he'll be here next season, but he's not good enough to be the starting centre half or midfielder. I'm certain Hughes won't be interested in him as a midfielder as he's commented many times how he wants his side to keep possession and dictate games with good footballers. Songo'o isn't one of those.

 

I get the feeling Adams is a prick.

 

They have a very strong attack while we have a weak defence so work it out

 

We seem to get the better of FGR when we play them.

Who knows, we might just spring a surprise.

Neat and tidy on the ball without us looking a threat. I think we've looked vulnerable defensively on set pieces - we'll need to sort that.

We've got the wind behind us second half, let's see if we can use it.

I think Perrerira looks like he has something too. There's ability there and he looks composed. A little lightweight and he needs to adjust to L2, but he could be a useful player.

Cook looks sluggish though.
