I would guess that last weeks backlash and media coverage made people think twice about pyros or flares today.
One made an appearance at Barrow but last week probably went along way in having anyone try one today.

I have to say, I think the stewards at Hartlepool today were great. Joking on the way in, not over aggressive, approachable and one even re-tied the flag down at the front that was coming loose.

The seems to plan it to allow all the "yoof" to fill up one block and were clear from the off that seat numbers didn't matter. Which was good as about 90% of seats didn't have a number on.

 

Just a general question really. Has there been any official update on the original incident yet?

 

They were better than decent at Colchester as well.

 

Disability

 

I saw the D in the username at the start of the other thread - for disability - we’ve seen it loads from Kitchen related stuff in the past and on City disabled team players posting on FB (many have it on their page etc) and was getting ready to tell people to calm down with their replies as it might not be as it seemed……. But the poster flipped the situation on its head by revealing they were in fact the victim of the hate and not the one with a problem.

Either way, just goes to show, sometimes It pays to just take a step back at times. Not everyone can word everything eloquently and there’s sometimes more to stuff than meets the eye on forums!

 

Plus some people generally struggle communicating online due to various disabilities and sometimes people should take that into account when reply to them

 

That sounds like a ST holder to me?

 

Think they should name and shame them, that really would make others think twice.

 

Could the club do that if the lad was under a certain age ?.

 

If he's a ST holder he'll lose the loyalty points for the game

 

So my analysis of this flares situation is-

You have to know where to buy them.

You have to go there to buy one.

Then you have to remember to take it to the game.

Then you have to sit there working out what would be the most impactful point in time to launch it into the air.

Then you have to launch it.

It makes me wonder why?

Saw them on Mannigham at about 11:55 - 5 or 6 lads, could've been under 18. Not sure why they would light a flare outside the ground if they were intending to take one in. Pretty thick I guess.

 

It's 2022, there's no need to visit a shop, literally dozens for sale on that site with the rainforest name.
