Any talk of Liverpool being hard hitting on Pyrotechnics is a bit of a joke, I've never seem as many let off in a stadium like Wembley as were let off for the FA Cup final. No better than the Millwall fans who ran all over the pitch.

Stupid comment. A better approach is for the club to quickly identify the idiot who did it, ban them for life, and turn them over to the police for a spot at HM pleasure.

 

And you would be the first to complain (and blame the club for delays) if everyone entering the stadium was strip searched, which is the only way to stop them. What lesson has the club to learn ? How can they physically stop some idiot who wants to create havoc, whatever that havoc is.

A lifetime ban and a criminal record is the answer, but you can't hold the club responsible for the actions of one moron. Once he was in with it, no-one could have stopped him.

Because as a club we need to do more and this is clearly serious!

All clubs have been warned at the start of the season about this and racist abuse.

 

Specifically, what more should the club be doing in your opinion? Sniffer dogs? Intimate body searches? What are you thinking they need to do to eradicate the smoke bomb issue.

 

He isn't bothered. Any thing that reflects badly on the club is absolute manna to him and his love of shadenfreuder.

 

Expect up to 3 months in prison and a 3-6 year banning order for carrying a pyrotechnic into a football ground.

There is a separate offence of throwing missiles at the pitch or other fans which carries a £1000 fine and there could also conceivably be another offence of having a firework in a public place if the offender is under 18.

 

I'm assuming these aren't adults, surely no grown person gets excited by a bit of coloured smoke unless their IQ is lower than their shoe size.
