The City Vent have posted the rules for the flag and cards. Will be too complicated for our fans.

As i read it that's what happening.
It says once the flag reaches the middle of the stand the cards will be held aloft to create the stripes as the players come out.
Gonna be chaos in the bottom tier.

I honestly don't know why we bother with some of the intelligence of our fans. But like the loyalty points scheme and the faux outrage it causes

I’m generally concerned that this will fry the brains to the point of spontaneous combustion for the two blokes that sit behind me in the bottom kop.
Does it come with crayons ?

    I agree.
The flag has to go from the NWC to the middle of the kop and stop there just in time as the players are entering the pitch and then when the players come out the cards go up.
It will look good if it goes right but it will need some serious timing.

Now you've added another element to the process, my old man is probably going to collapse in a heap due to the stress of it. Might be best not to make him drink less but actually make him drink more so he is oblivious.

Hope city vent pay city's fine for the paper balls thrown onto the pitch
The so called stewards just stood there & watched and did nothing they are a waste of money and might as well not be there
As for vent great flag keep it going but nothing else that can be used as missiles

and Smallwood needs to win the toss so Doncaster don't turn the teams around and City play to the Kop in the first half.

That would be the Midland road side i take it?
I can remember supporters walking around that side to get into the Bradford End.
    Probably late 60's early 70's

Dave - that bottom picture looks a lot older than 83 vintage. The state of the concrete on the Kop looks early 60’s.

No there wasn't one at that side, i was just saying that i remember supporters walking around the pitchside on the Midland road side to the Bradford End.
I was assuming @SelbyFan@SelbyFan was talking about that.
Deffo in the mid 60's now i think about it as i was only a little sprog at that time.
I used to have to stand on bricks in the Midland road so's that i could see over the wall.

I remember that well. The away fans often threw pieces of concrete over the dividing fence and on to us. Even worse was when they threw the City pies! I also remember turning up for the game and both sides of our Kop was virtually full of Wednesday fans. Felt like an away game. Late 70’s.

Yes with a divider barrier between the two. The cafe kiosk was right at the top in no man’s land and the toilets were shared. You couldn’t make it up!

I was thinking exactly the same Dave when I was looking at the old stand photo . “Climbed over there”, “ stood there”, xxxx stood there every game” . “Got my new white jeans covered in paddock brown ash there”.
