So, @Futchers tache , are you saying that only middle class people know how to behave in a civilised fashion?
Or that being working class gives a free pass to anti-social behaviour?
What the hell has social class got to do with behaving reasonably?

I have a confession. I`m 56. In that famous game when Collymore scored that amazing goal against Leeds. We all jumped up didn`t we........... we all went mental? We really did, my mates behind me knowing of the then recent encroachment laws pushed me onto the pitch. I was instantly ejected from the ground I had attended a million times since 1967. Marched out to howls of laughter from mates. Spent the rest of the match watching it in "The Bolton" pub. I was early 30s at the time. I am of the generation who remembers Pete Newby diving head first having ran across the pitch into the Millwall supporters at the home game around 1987, then being thrown back onto the pitch by them. I know rules are rules but sometimes we forget ourselves in times of euphoria don`t we, or is it just we ain`t had much "euphoria" these past 5 years. !! They are childish but that`s because they are children just like us in 1978 us as kids would have done exactly the same and no problem. Just ushered back into the stand no problem. Trouble is nowadays passion is not allowed its frowned upon.

Didn't even go on the pitch but late a goal celebration got them a £400 fine. Google this stuff and you find plenty of people are being fined and sometimes banned, depending on the severity of the offence.

And on a related matter:

There are now plenty precedents for this stuff and they are clamping down. Expect a fine for a first offence and a ban if you have previous. You'll get a ban on the first offence is there is aggravating behaviour. It's a wonder we've not had any arrests yet. You'll be lucky if you just get chucked out and avoid a criminal record. I do think the club could make it clearer, though. Perhaps some kind of painted warnings on the floor that exitting the stand to the front without authorisation is a criminal offence or players and staff only beyond this point.Jayteebee and Interested Bystander like this. -

The club used to have zero tolerance on this. Does everyone remember when away fans used to jump onto the pitch and the first one - or at least the first one they could catch - got chucked out and we'd all laugh? Home fans did not do it because they knew the first on would be ejected and might lose their seat for the season. When did the club drop this policy? Was it Edin or was it earlier?

Anyone under 18 maybe given a warning or temporary ban.
Anyone over 18 involved instant permanent ban.
Probably no adults were involved, but if there were, wow that's embarrassing. Should be banned just for being so incredibly thick.Jayteebee likes this. -

What a gullible lot you are on here,, The club have had your pants down for a good few years now, They have even re- employed the very person that caused all this shit by selling the club to these non Bradford city people in the first place, yet you carry on financially supporting them, and then have a good old moan about a few kids celebrating on pitch. You'd be better off watching bowls or take up knitting instead of winging about what football should be about.
