Personally I would relaunch on the original premise i.e. you are in either Claret or Amber and ‘if’ fans are allowed to return you can attend the section of designated matches. You get i-follow as part of the package. If they get another 1,000 then it would assist. Better than getting far less.

When people talk about a strategic plan, then retaining your supporter (customer) base is important. Fans are more likely to remain ‘engaged’ and have an ‘ongoing commitment’ if they have a Season Ticket/i-follow package, they may well ‘drift off’, if the link is severed.

I don't see how they can do that when we just don't know how many fans will be allowed back in. Selling a package on the basis that there is no guarantee they will get into the ground this season is not the same as saying an outright 'no'; it is making sure that those that have already bought season tickets are prioritised if and when fans are allowed back in, and others are only allowed in if there is the capacity to accommodate them. What would happen if we sold another 1000 packages as either claret or amber, then at some stage the club get the go ahead to allow fans back in, but only 3000 a game?

If the cost was reasonable for season ticket holders , i would probably pay the extra to attend matches that were not in my alloted group. This watching on i follow is really poor and i am an advocate of increasing season ticket prices , We have had them too cheap for too long and people now think its the norm. £200 next season for me.

I think we should reward the fans who have renewed this season. Let them have them for 150 in a renewal window. Open it around April time. Then close it. Everyone else comes in then at 200 quid.

It's just been on Look North that the Crucible Theatre is still planning to reopen in about a month with numbers limited to 250 of its 1000 capacity.

Taxpayer money should not be squandered bailing out the unsustainable football model we have in this country.

Time for a long overdue realignment of the game.

I will answer your last sentence first. A similar solution to the current situation would have to be devised as we have sold 9,039 https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/sport/18702032.bradford-city-announce-season-ticket-sales-figures/
So unless the number allowed into the ground was 4,520, there is either going to be spare capacity or current season ticket holders, who would not be able to get in.
I recall that there was a suggestion that the number would be around 7,000. If that is the case there are a lot of spare seats.
The package that I have bought, is ‘on the basis that there is no guarantee I will get into the ground this season’.
There is no reason why the club could not limit the number of ‘packages’ In a second spell to say 961 (neat 10,000) or any other figure up to 14,000 in total.

And yet vast amounts of public monety is given to the opera , ballet and the arts to keep them going year on year.
Why should my taxes be used to prop up something i have no intrest in, but something i do follow , gets nothing.
Football at our level is still a working mans opera.

    Unfortunately, it's not even close!

The entirety of all sports, including football is included in the much bigger 'Arts, Entertainment & Recreation' sector. And the Financial Services sector on its own generates almost 10 times as much through PAYE compared to what is taken from the entire Arts & Recreation sector! Economically speaking, football is a tiddler in the great scheme of things despite what we might all believe :)

On a more positive note, the football sector contributes about 5 times what the fishing industry does to our economy!

Until the conservatives get rid of Boris Johnson then this country is in trouble.

Good on him for writing to the PM. I would like to see Rupp, Ryan or Rhodes do the same and all the other football club if I am honest.

Fordy, I've dealt with this from here in Cyprus with Ryan Sparks.
I know Robbie Cowling, he's a good guy and all his words are from the heart. Others need to follow which I am taking on board Monday when I will be back from the sun!!

That would be Baldwins job I suspect? To represent everyone at one go rather that sending 70 odd individual letters.

Hasn't Rick Parry (DB's boss) already written to the Govt making a plea for the EFL clubs to receive a handout? I think the response from DCMS was that they were pinning their hopes on a return of the fans, even in limited numbers, to the stadia to keep the wolf from the door. I wouldn't expect much more than that.

Apparently, the EFL via Rick Parry have already sent a letter to Bozo, expressing their disappointment with the governments position.

Nice one mate and that's great to hear. Pleased about that.

Credit to Ryan and Bradford City also.

As much as clubs are part of the EFL I believe that clubs also need to address the point to the government as well separately like Robbie did. Also Bradford government MP needs to do more. Bradford Council need to do more. Heard the Mansfield MP bring up Mansfield Town lack of crowds in PM Question time today. The more clubs write and ask questions to the government the better.

EFL saying the league could lose 200m if no fans this season. The government needs to help out.

I'll hammer Bradford City if I need too but I know that like Colchester and other they have done everything that's been asked of them plus sold season tickets it's a massive blow and the government urgent understand how football boosts the economy. No fans just doesn't damage the clubs but other industries in the city.

Good luck with it and happy the club will be taking their own action on this.

All clubs need to do it though.

Bozo does a lot of u turns when under pressure. One letter from the EFL he will ignore.
