The FA have said today that stages 1to7,that's National league down to Northern Counties East, will not be allowed to restart next season until crowds are allowed in.

Bit of leadership from the FA then.
Putting pressure on the Government to allow fans back then.

It's worth pointing out that Serbia pretty much locked down before the first wave got there so it should be no surprise they start getting the first wave if they unlock and start playing football with crowds. It seems most countries are going for herd immunity again, perhaps unintentionally. The good news is some countries that locked down after a big first wave are seeing cases continue to fall as they unlock so far, and might be showing some herd immunity. The bad news is lots of countries locked down before a big first wave and some are seeing infections picking up, like Serbia. There is more good news, though. If you compare UK deaths now with infections a month ago, and track the two, death rates are maybe easing slightly, though it might depend on which parts of society are most infected at any point. You'll note, however, that where we've been getting these case flare-ups in various countries in recent weeks, very many are symptomless and not as many seem to be getting ill and dying.

Don’t think it will be this year for lower league teams who don’t have the money to make grounds Covid secure.
The chief medical officer today said this threat will be here till at leat next year unless there is a big breakthrough on vaccines or therapeutics.
They may let a very limited number in but whether with the extra that would cost it would be viable is open to doubt

So if lower league clubs can’t allow enough fans in the ground to make ends meet then why would they bother? Might as well delay project restart until August 2021.

IMO you choose to go to football and you do so with the risk you might get it or spread it. If you have loved ones who you want to protect you don’t go. Open it to all and let’s crack on

I agree, I just don't get why your not allowed to chant, it might be a little inaudible anyway but sure they don't expect fans to sit quietly and not get emotionally involved in the game.

Respiratory disease so imagine the no chanting is to stop or attempt to stop it spreading if someone has it.

Would you also apply that same principle when going to the pub or out for a meal?
