Was Emmeline Pankhurst's boycott of the census to protest women not being allowed to vote 'negative'?
Progress doesn't come to those who don't bother trying, Park.

Sparks might well say that reduced attendances are all about Adams' style and he's now left VP and once we get his replacement in, everything at VP will be hunky dory. If that is his explanation, he is either fooling himself or in denial. The problems are much deeper and both he and Rupp are part of that malaise. A club with no leadership and no vision for the future will continue to flounder irrespective of who is sitting in the dugout.Bantam-in-Greece, Get Rid Of It and Onside like this. -
I think there's less chance of that happening than just not turning up , As said theres circa 6k boycotting every match alreadyStop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Craven Cottager, JonButterfield and WilsdenBantam like this. -
Listen I was all for backing him but at this point he just seems not to give a toss this club is in a mess it needs its leader to at least come forward with some kind of vision to lead us forward but nothing at all ...............I mean if he came out tommorow told that a new manager was in place a decent budget will also be in place and director of football was gonna come in then the majority of folk would get on board .......... but nothing yet somehow he expects folk to turn up and line his pockets ........ sorry the folk of Bradford have had enough of this sham the times of being humiliated by teams with gates of under 2k should have been done with in 2013 but no it’s got even worse now and sadly he’s sat back and let this happen ............ and so what if we go bust there is more than enough folk who will never let this club die ............. would rather see a Bradford City at non league level that I can get on board with than this complete farce I mean Harrogate Town I mean less than 5 years ago that was a pre season workout now we are nothing to them but 3 easy points .... ..... shambolic

The club once again postpone the protests, let's hope this time for good and we start moving in the right direction.

I’ve boycotted since October whilst we had Adams. First game tonight since then and although it was utter shite, I want to go on Saturday!
-
Rather than boycott I think all season ticket holders should attend and have a full 90 minutes of peaceful protest against Rupp in the ground. Banners, chants, anti-ownership songs, anything. We don't need to spend anything in the ground, we've paid for our seat already. It might make national news. If we call for a boycott there'll always be those who will attend, therefore the low crowd won't be reported because of the season ticket figure. It'll hardly make the T&A.

In my case, stay away and won't be renewing or putting any money into club until Rupp has gone.ModernBantam and bantamdave41 like this. -

Other that putting off potential managers or even worse giving the new manager a headache they don't need - I fail to see what this does, other than make a few fans happier because they are taking 'action'.
No doubt some of our fans now think they have new powers, after all they only had to express their displeasure at Adams and Sparks rolled over - but I think Rupp is made of sterner stuff.
And believe it or not there are worse owners about. We get a decent L2 budget and I bet it's averaged in the Top 7 since we were relegated plus he seems to always back his relevant CEO (of course this isn't good when you back the wrong un!!)
Is a plane going to flying above the ground with 'Rupp out' or is it a bit too windy?shoatsy and Idlebantam like this. -
There has been interest from willing buyers, and the price Rupp is demanding is a ridiculous one - 10m. He needs to be forced into selling and the only way to achieve that is to make his ownership of the club an financial strain.
So yes, less money for next season might have to be part of the bitter pill that needs to be swallowed. Reduce the budget significantly and make him either prop it up or face his asset eroding to nothing as a consequence of relegation.
As for the fans being in raptures, I couldn't comment as I dont go to VP now. But there looked to be a hell of a lot of empty seats to me. I've seen VP truly in raptures, and not that long ago. I have trouble believing that VP was in anything like raptures at any point last night.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... As if a lower budget could make things any worse than they already are. The club's rotten from top to bottom, the whole lot needs clearing out and we had the opportunity in December to do so but Rupp decided to claim he's the proud custodian rather than fecking off, the fact there are still apologists for him is sickening after what he's done to this club.
If he wants to play the proud custodian, fecking act like it and get an experienced head in to run the show. And if protests hit the budget, well shit I guess he'll have to dip into his pocket for once or he'll miss out on his asking price as we get relegated again.
WAGMI was only one interested party, you can be damn sure there were others, but because we don't know all the names involved let's sack them off and be happy with what we've got ehModernBantam and Get Rid Of It like this. -
