    City's Emirates FA Cup first-round clash at Shrewsbury Town will be contested on Saturday November 9.
    Taking place at the Shrews' Montgomery Waters Meadow stadium, the action is set to get underway from 3.00pm.

    Travelling City supporters will be housed in the DM Recruitment Stand, with tickets set to go on sale to Away Priority members at 9.00am this coming Friday (November 1).

    Admission prices are as follows:
    Adults - £10
    Concessions - £8
    Under-18s - £4
    Under-12s - FREE

    Details of when tickets are to be released on general sale will be announced in due course.

    Admission prices for non-season-ticket holders are as follows:
    Adults - £15
    Concessions - £12
    Under-18s - £6
    Under-12s - FREE

    Should the match end in a draw, the replay will take place at the Utilita Energy Stadium on Tuesday November 19, kicking off at 7.45pm.

    Admission prices are as follows:
    Adults - £10
    Senior Citizens / Students - £5
    Juniors - £1

    Interesting that prices differ for ST holders. Quite like that as an idea going forwards, i know ST dont suit everyone but the odd perk like this never harmed anyone.

    See where you are coming from young man and my head half agrees with you. Normally, we don't do well in the cup but I have been to Goodison and Stamford Bridge and when that happens, all previous seasons are forgotten. I still remember buying a magazine at Goodison and asking the guy "are we in it"? He replied "who are you"? He smiled at my response; "you might know at quarter to five"

    Wonder if anyone knows whether any of our
    loan players won't be allowed to play in the cup
    by their clubs?

    If Cooke is allowed, his suspension game will be
    at Shrewsbury otherwise he'll be missing Colchester
    if Rochdale game won't count.

    Will we allow Doyle to play for Swindon?

    T&A saying Cooke misses the FA cup tie, so presume Posh dont need to make a decision until next round, if we progress of course

    Going to be a very hard tie.

    Over the last six home games, Shrewsbury are a credible 9th in League One. A lot will depend on which teams they and we put out. A great leveller is the cup, but perhaps too big an ask?

    Nasty tie, no chance whatsoever they are going to underestimate us, and they've got a better side IMO.

    Don't get me wrong, I think with a few tweaks we can threaten League One sides next season, but we aren't even at full strength.

    Plus, away.

    I think Shrewsbury will see us off.

    Suspect we will see 3-4 changes to Saturdays starting XI. Quite sure Paudie will play and Devine in for Cooke. Perhaps Mellor in for Henley? Disappointed for McCartan as suspect he would have been a nailed on starter for this one.

    Given injuries can’t see how we can change much more without seriously weakening the team and I’d be surprised if Bowyer will completely disregard this. We have Tuesday against Rochdale to play more of the fringe players (Anderson, Patrick etc).
