Can't agree we've missed Donaldson since he got injured at Morcome, still we dont have a midfield player who can play a pass, we just knock it wide and hope when our widemen get the ball in someone gets on the other end of the cross, unfortunatly their centeal defenders usually did.
We had that good chance first half but on the whole created little, can't even say the best team won.

 

Not read through the thread yet but on top of a pitiful performance tonight I was bitterly disappointed to hear tonight Bowyer say that we should learn from Shrewsburys tactics of gamemanship ,well I for one do not want to see under any circumstances my Bradford City stoop as low as that witnessed tonight by Shrewsbury or most of the other sides that have come to spoil games over the last few years....

 

We'll never know until he gets his chance, last night was an ideal chance to give him 20 minutes, I will go on championing Reeves until he is given a chance and fails, I for one aren't writting him off, but no suprise you are.

 

Long away match would be a nightmare with Colchester and Plymouth away the next 2 Saturdays and the 2nd round is the week after so if we are unlucky with the draws there's the potential for 4 long away trips on consecutive weekends.

Mixed feelings about getting the bye, on the one hand it gives us a free week and a chance for players to recover and any players needing a run out can do the Tuesday after against Rochdale in the EFL Trophy, also guarantees 36k in prize money and unlikely to loose out a lot in gate receipts but on the other hand it would be great to keep momentum going if we can keep the run going for the next 3 matches.

 

And a chance to play players that need match minutes.

If we lose we lose! It's all about the league and going up automatically for us.

 

The club might financially. Promotion is the only priority, but if we can have both then it could help bring one or two players in in January to get us over the line.

 

I'm sure as manager Bowyer won't want to go out first round, not mega money the early rounds but any monies generated would come in useful in the January window.
