The atmosphere generated against Millwall was electric. The KOP was sold out and once we were cruising, knowing we were heading to Stamford Bridge in Jan, it really was a joy to watch.

Even Zoko hit the post. Anything can happen tomorrow night - I’ll be there.

 

The atmosphere when we beat Forest 2-1 in front of only 5k was great. I always said they should open the top of the kop rather than the bottom. We did it just once - and won. Why no repeat? Instead we open the bottom and it's like a morgue. Some people seem to have forgotten this even happened. There is video evidence:

When you feel that minus 1 wind on your balls. You won't be thinking it's like summer again.

 

Nothing worse than a warm bollock, nice and cool like a real northerner

 

It should be a good game to be fair.

Wouldn't risk Vaughan but apart from that I expect a full team out.

Here's hoping he takes up where he left off, huh ?

 

Fairly confident for this one. We bossed the first 20 minutes last week and had the better chances to win the game in the 2nd half. I'd expect a midfield 3 of Cooke, Reeves and Pritchard to start which will be an astronomical upgrade on the devine/akpan combo from last week.

 

We’ve done that for a few games. I recall the JPT game against Port Vale in 2010 being upper Kop only. Won that, too.

 

JPT? Well I suppose that might count to some. Seriously, though, thanks. That's more evidence to suggest trying it again.

An effort been made to increase the atmosphere for tonights game.
Im inspired enough to get my arse there after a 6.45pm parents evening appointment in Guiseley.

 

Notts County I can't remember that being a night game, wasn't if a Saturday afternoon game the Football League tried out that season before the actual start of the season ?.

 

We also played them on a night game in a separate competition, might have been the old JPT.

Anyway, i'll be there tonight - looking forward to it!

Shrewsbury's on loan goalkeeper Max O'Leary, who didn't play in the first game, is fit again and the local journalist expects Beckles to be on the bench

 

It was County in JPT the season they splashed all that money and walked the league. Had Schmeichel in net. Think Boulding & Brandon scored in last minute and won on a shootout?

 

Happy for Beckles to be on the bench.

Got to go full strength for this (injuries permitting). Very winnable second round game which could put us in the 3rd round.

Given the break we’ve had we should have no issues with fatigue so we should be going for this.
