    I can't understand the apathy shown towards the early rounds of the FA Cup. When I started supporting City in the 1950s crowds for cup games were often bigger than league matches.
    No doubt there will be a surge in interest if the team makes it to the third round against a Premier League club.
    To get there they need support against Exeter, so if you're local get down to Valley Parade and don't forget to keep your ticket stub. It may come in useful in January

    The FOOTBALL LEAGUE CUP has as you say been around since the 1960’s. As the Football League Cup it was the competition that saw us get to the (Capital One then) final in 2013.

    The problem is that with sponsorship they keep changing the name. It is Carabao (you even spelt it incorrectly Dave) at the moment, apparently an energy drink, which l have never had, feel no urge to drink, and will never do so.

    For me it should the the Football League Cup…..sponsored by Carabao. Just calling it the Carabao cup, diminishes its worth.

    The competition is okay, it is the tacky sponsorship which……sticks in the throat!

    Nothing embarrassing about it, every club will have a reduced attendance for the first round of the FA Cup, fans will attend if they think its good value not sure £15 is a realistic price to pay.

    That was a really enjoyable game to watch. We were by far the better team and, as is so often the case, should have been comfortably ahead, not hanging onto a one goal lead.

    Adams doesn’t get off easy he lives of his reputation of success on small budgets that’s why he was hired. Adams getting to easy a ride compared to others with some supporter

    Even if we were top of the league we'd struggle to get 5,000 for an FA cup 1st round tie at home to Exeter.
