Our cup form since the Parky years has been pretty dreadful, it's about time we had another little run - I for one love City to be in the limelight a bit. Its crap when the 2nd and 3rd round draws take place and we're not even there. Time for us to show a bit of intent and build the feelgood factor - those who say a cup run gets in the way and league is all that matters need to realise the two run hand in hand

Adams is right with his quote in today's Post match interview, 'story of our season so far.' He knows where the weaknesses are, some of them inherited from a regime not interested in ambition. I'm not sure Adams has enough time this season to change it, or enough input from our owner to supply the necessary quality needed. The onus is now on Rupp, possibly in January but more likely the summer, to give Adams what he needs to finish the objective. Because it's clear with that extra incentive he will get us up.

I dont have that feeling, more a frustration at those above Adams to not fully grasp the nettle and understand that we need a bit of quality thorough the team to take it to the next level. The stuff we play under Adams is way different to the garbage played under Bowyer bit as a team we still lack the vital ingredients.

Finally seen the goal - if that were in the premiership and on MOTD they would quite rightly be waxing lyrical about it that pass. Very very good, as was Robinsons finish.

You are like a coiled spring, just waiting for City to concede, and boing, you appear. Nowhere to been seen when we are on top and winning.

We had far better chances that they showed on them highlights, Threlkeld missed two sitters from 4 yards out and Watt and Vernam forced very good saves out of their keeper although he was under worked for the chances we had not for the first time this season. Robinson also hit the bar. I know it’s not the in thing to praise a performance on here unless we win 3-0 but it was a very good performance, just didn’t translate into a good result unfortunately, that was our own fault at least the ref didn’t play centre stage like last week.

Unlike some I still live the FA Cup, I’ll be there and glad it’s a home tie. Just hope we can get through and get a crap non league team in round 2, it’ll make the price rise more than worth it.

Very good performance and game, but very disappointing result. So many chances wasted, Threlkeld missed two sitters to put the game to bed. Sutton and Robinson hit the woodwork, both on the volley though not easy chances. Watt and Vernam also forced very good saves out of their keeper which was unfortunately all he had to do except pick the ball out of his net.

So many of these chances are clear cut it’s just not good enough. But thought the booing at the end was very poor, the team gave 100% and were the better team against a team who haven’t lost in something like 14 games.

The ref was really good today, could have done with him last week…

It's all to do with core training. I used to suffer with hamstring problems, so I worked on my legs more. Didn't help. Went and saw a physio, and he asked me how much training I do to strengthen my back. "Its not my back doc, its my legs". No. It's all about the back. The back supports the abs. The abs support the core. The core support the lower body. He said, if you don't have a strong back, you can't support your stomach muscles. If you don't have stomach muscles, you can't stand upright. If you can't stand upright, then your quads and hamstrings are working harder than they have to. If they are working harder than they have to, they are already strained. One burst of speed, or some checking back and forth, and that's it - your leg muscles are going to get torn. WARMING UP can help prevent this. I remember AK, inbetween his usual bumblings and early goal chants, suggested that he thinks our pre match conditioning is not correct. I've unfortunately not been to any games for a while, but has anything changed during our pre match warm up? I'm thinking if not, then possibly nothing has changed during training sessions mid week. Who is our physio? What's his track record? I'd like to think, that Adams has brought his own man in?

In what way? The football on display is chalk and cheese, we actually create chances and every match doesn’t make me want to gouge my eyes out. Just wish we had a Vaughan or Doyle on the end of these chances we’d be far higher up the table.

    I disagree.
Getting to 3rd round and the prospect of an exciting tie might just stir up fan interest at a time when it’s rapidly disappearing.

No, I am not happy that we are not killing off teams and it is hurting us at the moment. We are playing well though, but Rcbantam only appears when we are not winning. Most fans on here comment on the good and the bad and have fairly balanced views, but this clown, imported from that other channel I assume, never has a good word to say

I’d like to think the same about Boris Johnson. But neither will happen.
