Yes some far more than others.

You quote : but there is merit in a system allowing those that attended the early rounds some sort of priority.

Fans who attended Saturdays FA Cup game will have got loyalty points, as will those who travel to the replay so what's your actual point.

You've just done it again and completely ignored the first part of the post.

Are you sure you don't post on here as some kind of parody of yourself at times?

I was thinking more for a game like Chelsea away where we received 6000 tickets. The priority card holders get 1000 but I think it’s only fair to offer the next priority to fans who attended the previous rounds.

    Oh……..

    Wait……..

Didn’t they try that with the Millwall game. Lol

I know I take the piss but generally speaking I agree with your stance regarding rewarding the fans who put in the away miles every week. It doesn't matter what the reasoning is from those who for some reason can't attend as many games as others but that's tough luck. And those guys who put the hard yards in don't do it so they can be at the head of ticket priority, they do it first and foremost because they are loyal supporters of the club.

The first part of your original post is not relevant, Exeter are providing accommodation for 504 fans so as with the Fleetwood semi final all those who purchased priority ticket could not be accommodated and it was/will be first come first served, if those attending early FA Cup games feel they should be made a special case in stead of a sympathy card maybe they should buy a priority card its not difficult.

As has been said it wont be an issue next season, I agree as you say those who attend more games will get rewarded for their efforts, I can't see an problem the club offered the priority card route the fans who took that route can't be questioned as you posted everyone knew the situation before the season started.

The part where I mentioned about priority cards isn't important because if people want to guarantee attending they should buy a priority card?

    Riiiight. Got ya.

I'd go on to say that most if not all who bought a priority ticket will probably go to most away games anyway, purchasing the ticket more of an insurance policy for the small ground allocations.

It is and personally I have never tried to hide it, for £30 it's a no brainer.

Quote : Only because we advertised and sold a completely different system, what completely different system is this, the club have run the priority card system for around 8/9 seasons, the Loyalty scheme which should have been worded as a Reward scheme rather than loyalty is new and should be applauded as those who attend the most games get rewarded.

I don’t blame you for getting one. As you say it’s a no brainer at £30.
I remember back in our 1st PL season the cost of a similar ticket was £100 I think. But this guaranteed a ticket for Old Trafford, Highbury and Anfield, not Harrogate lol

I am fairly certain that the Chelsea game was before the introduction of Priority Cards.

I recall the whole suggestion that 'stub holders' were given some sort of priority. However, it was just a free for all, with some camping down at Valley Parade. The online option wasn't fit for purpose and irrespective if you had been to Milwall home and away, it counted for diddly squat. I know people who were not season ticket holders, who got tickets for that match!

Whatever the merits of the Priority Card system, it at least recognises some commitment to the club. The loyalty points system should be fair as well.

For this season however, I would have a dual system. Stub holders and Priority Card holders, be given equal access for cup games, before release to Season Ticket Holders and lastly the public.

A completely different system to the one @Loyalbantam@Loyalbantam wanted to see implemented.

Honestly, if you follow the flow of the thread and then read the posts in full you're more likely to understand them.

It also stops the threads being taken over by mindless nonsense like me have to explain my post to you 4 or 5 times when in reality it was something a young child could have read and understood.

(Hence, the popularity on the old site for the poop rating and the reason you seemed to collect them for a hobby).

Not correct Rod. The Priority Card system was in operation for the Chelsea game. There were quite a few still unsold before the Chelsea tickets went on sale. I snapped one up and got a Chelsea ticket as a result.

Fair enough. If the Priority system was in place, that was an option. I would anticipate that there would be about 1,0000 Priority Tickets around then? However there were around 6,500 tickets for Chelsea. When we played Milwall, at The New Den in the previous round, there would have been under 2,000 who attended and had ‘stubs’! Surely if the club had had a dual category of Priority Holders and/or Stub holders, then that would have been fair. If not, that then release one, to Priority Holders, release two to stub holders, release three to Season Ticket holders, release four to the public.
    Still all history now.
If we go into the third round, and a major draw, it would be interesting to see how the club would distribute a similar number of tickets to supporters this season.

Correct. I took a punt and bought them for my son and I and a friend before the Millwall replay, which we attended. If I remember correctly Millwall were not on a good run of form and Holloway was sacked soon after. At that point we already knew that if we beat Millwall then Chelsea were our next opponents and there would be a scramble for tickets.
