So the thread is about Erhun Oztumer and we end up talking about the unofficial announcement of somebody else having signed! I assume this somebody else is Kristien Dennis?

Josh Wright’s twitter doesn’t mention any such thing. So if he has been thanking fans for welcoming him, they’ve been removed.

BUT, SkySports have confirmed the signing.

As for Oztumer, pie in the sky. So if we are only supposed to be talking about him joining City, on this thread, it may as well be closed down now.

 

You just know Oztumer will rack up somewhere and people will give the club stick for fanciful targets. Even though this rumour has come exclusively from a journo not from the club

 

It's not him, it's a city fan with the same name having a joke.

He is, but he also mentions 3 Championship teams too, that puts us at the bottom of the list. Not sure why he would choose L1 over Championship. .

No mate, the one I’m looking at is @joshwright4 and this appears to be genuine. Parker, O’Rourke, Billy Knott, Vincelot and Robinson amongst the names of followers (89.7k).

As I say, nothing on his twitter page, but SkySportsNews have confirmed it in the last couple of hours

No. He only tweeted what the HITC website had put up earlier. The same website that linked Blackburn to Oztumer this time last year
