    Would be a top drawer signing, can't see it. But a 50/1 won going over hurdles for the first time the other day, so it isn't impossible. If the other teams would politely piss off and leave us to it it'd be nice.

    Can't knock the ambition in trying to sign players like this I just view it that it's got a very small chance of coming off. As long as we're not letting other targets slip away during the chase them there's no harm in trying but don't get your hopes up otherwise it becomes a stick to beat the club with.

    Well that's a bit of a nonsense. Higher wages and ambitions are available in League 1 to what he is currently receiving at Walsall.

    I am not talking about Bradford - it was suggested if he wanted to continue to play in L1 he would just sign with Walsall. I am guessing Sunderland and Barnsley could blow whatever Walsall can offer out of the water.

    You need to stop assuming and have a read of the entire conversation.

    You just know Oztumer will rack up somewhere and people will give the club stick for fanciful targets. Even though this rumour has come exclusively from a journo not from the club

    Can’t see Blackburn being in for him. He’s very similar to Dack and you wouldn’t be able to play the both of them.

    Preston and Bolton though would be too enticing if their offers are genuine

    He might not be guaranteed first team football with the 3 Championship clubs, if he wants guaranteed first team football and a sustained promotion push he may side with our good selves.

    Wonder how much he would cost if he was in contract??? He must be worth around £1m?

    I think the only way we could entice him to continue in League One is offer him a huge bonus if we get promoted to the Championship. And a suitable release clause if we don't do it after one season.

    True, we are. But it isn't just about the league we are in. Obviously wages will come into it and again we lack, but a one off bonus for promotion could give us an edge over the others. I think we are the only club that can guarantee him 1st team football as well....maybe Bolton too TBF.

    Look at Dack last summer - he had a pick of clubs but chose Blackburn.
