Blackburn had a plan and funded it. City have a plan, but can not or won't fund it.

How do you know Walsalls wage structure ?? People from other clubs keep assuming we are big hitters in this league and pay big wages which is also a myth. Walsall may well pay him more than we can you simply do not know this

I'm still awaiting confirmation of this (A one year clause ?), but it's more to do with wages - which is why I suspect, City will be left standing.

 

Correct. We actually don’t know what are budget is, and I am guessing we won’t know. For all we know, we cry empty pockets, but actually fund players we really want.

 

The board may sanction paying him more in wages being as he comes for free. He is worth the 250000 transfer fee we paid for Shay. Split that over. 3 year contract and that’s very good wages for league 1. There is also the option for a sell on in a years time which can’t be ignored as part of the investment meaning city would only need to pay a third of the 250000 outlay, if they sold him.

Why? Dack joined Blackburn at the age of 23, so a great age for someone of his ability. Although Oztumer is a good footballer, he turned 27 today. Still a decent age, but still 3yrs Dack’s senior.
