Adrian Durham was just as baffled as I’ve always been as to why we would loan someone to a league rival.

 

It’s not difficult to understand why. You wanted his wages off the books and he wasn’t wanted.

Nobody knew he’d hit the amount of goals he has. It’s just one of those decisions that’s come back to bite you on the arse.

If he’d only scored, say, 8 goals there wouldn’t be any discussion at all. It’s because his goal scoring has gone national/international that it’s now made you look a bit foolish.

Easy to be wise after the event. At the time everybody was happy about his loan.

 

Yes I've noticed that the major broad sheets have Messi and Ronaldo 2nd & 3rd behind the "Ginger Pele" .

 

Strange though considering he's nowhere near the most prolific in Europe

 

Who Messi or Ronaldo, when Doyle comes back they'll be a vacancy at Swindon it could be the highlight of their careers.

Might be an unpopular postion this but i think we should force swindon to buy him, otherwise sell him on elsewhere. Someone must want a player thats scoring that much. We use that money to strengthen upfront and in midfield.

I say this as i was watching efl highlights last night and saw him celebrating when a team member scored. Never reacted like that with us.

Sign them on a permanent basis. Few recalls in jan or end of the season and an entire midfield rebuild is needed.

As youve said many times last season he was shit for us. The whole swindon team is gauged on doyle getting service, ours is not.
Also you are saying that he wouldnt be mad that we took him from a club he is happy at? That he wouldnt have a reason to play worse than he did before?

 

What we really need in January is cover and competition for Donaldson he has been a big miss

 

Or even better, play to the strengths of the strikers we do have.

 

We can play to the strengths of the rest of the team with someone to hold the ball up then We then can get the best out of Vaughan and Oteh and Doyle if he was to return . And play with at least one winger

 

Swindon it’s not wise after the event mate he is scoring for fun and believe or not we own him at the moment?!? And we are not scoring so yes we are talking of is return if you don’t mind?

Yes I thought it would be one of the bigger clubs until I came across that article, I'd heard my son in law bragging about big investment coming into Leeds but thought nothing of it then read that article.

 

It was easy to see why Bowyer went with Donaldson & Vaughan up top at the start, based on their careers and reputations. Add to that, the under performing Doyle from last season was never going start first. Had he stuck around he’d probably be one of the front 2 by now and who knows how many he’d have.

Bring him back and give a Vaughan a break, but please don’t aim at his head.
