What an odd situation. We once had one of our players (Paul Caddis) on loan to a team in a higher division (Birmingham). There were a few WTFs being bandied around then.

Anyway.

I have it on good authority that the ginger Pele will be returning to you lot in January. I might be wrong, and I hope I am.

But will he score for you?

My personal opinon is that he will be recalled only for it to not work out for him/you, after which he will end up coming back to Swindon before the window closes.

If I were you lot I would not count on recalling him derailling our season. Any half decent poacher will get goals here and recruitment has been excellent for us so far this season. I think recalling him to try and slow us down would be a bad (and expensive) tactical move.

I've been browsing this forum for a while because of the ginger Pele, and you lot seem like a good bunch. One of my closest friends is from Bradford. I struggle to understand him at times but he's a great lad. I wish you all the best. Except for when you come to us. I'd be happy to see you in 2nd this season... behind the mighty Swindon Town FC.

What did you think of Raffaele De Vita. I liked him. Not the most talented player but definitiely a grafter.

 

Having said that... the ginger god himself has just said that he loves it here and, as far as he is concerned, he is here for the rest of the season. Of course it would ultimately not be up to him, but you'd think he'd have an idea of what is going on.

Here's a picture of him celebrating a goal today. It was not even his goal that he was celebrating.

 

We'd love the countries leading goalscorer back, but he would probably lose the will to live feeding off BowyerS boring bland football. For his sake your club needs to pull out all the stops to keep him.

I saw this on the highlights. I can’t imagine there’s anyway he wants to come back to us and sure he’ll be doing all he can to engineer a permanent move.

Sometimes things don’t work out for certain players. Can’t see him scoring the goals he’s currently doing so at Swindon. If we can get good money for him, let him go and use the money wisely.

 

The fact we seem unable to achieve a set up to take advantage of what is the countries leading goalscorer is concerning. But having watched a fair bit of Swindon on ifollow to see how they do manage to get the best out of him they play an attractive ball on the deck style of football with two up top, pretty much the exact opposite of what we do. For his sake he has to stay at Swindon because of the way Bowyer sets his team up.

 

Someone on our forum had their grand-daughter as mascot yesterday and spoke to Wellens after the match. He said Doyle was 80-20 to stay, Yates and Grant 100% - all on perms.

 

We don't need a goalscorer. We need a team that is encouraged to get forward freely and create. Unfortunately we don't have a manager who does this so like i said, no need for a front man to try score goals from only a couple of half chances

He will not come back, Imagine how it would reflect on GB if the countries leading scorer came back and then drew blanks, GB will not risk been exposed like that

 

It's made Bowyer look like a complete idiot with him scoring nearly 20 goals elsewhere mate and seeming not to be able to manage forwards correctly.

Yates is OOC in June like Doyle. If they want some money for him it’s Jan or not at all.

 

Yates might want to keep his options open.
