C’mn who cares, he has gone, it matters not a jot to us if he scores, unless we are going to keep this running and we all want to read about it when he doesn’t score.

 

With respect @JonButterfield thats got to be the poorest post you've posted.
How does your striker doing his job equate to the team not winning, wouldnt that be because the defense could not do theirs ?.

 

I understand it seems nonsensical, but here we are.

Teams don't succeed with Doyle in the team whether he scores or not. Perhaps it's because the ball is never held up and consistently comes back. Perhaps it's because he offers nothing but his goals. Conjecture aside, though, the facts speak for themselves.

He has never been involved in a successful team .

I do not expect Swindon to end that.

 

Oh how we could do with a player like that.

 

No, we want players who score goals like Doyle, but also contribute to the rest of the play. If we could somehow sign Vaughan...

On that theory we better get rid of O Donnell superquick.

 

Poor results follow Doyle around coincidence, I think not it’s a team game. Most his goals come in games his team don’t win. By definition he’s not a match winner which good strikers are.

What’s baffling is those that watch him for over a year defending him and blaming everyone else.

 

Oldham, Chesterfield, Bradford and Swindon were shite before and after his departures.

 

Not at all my concern is as I have posted several times if Vaughan or Donaldson get injured we don't have cover, now as most have said and it seems to be the general consensus that Doyle along side either Donaldson or Vaughan would suit Doyle better than playing him at the head of the diamond or the nunber 10 role.
I get it that maybe for Bowyer to bring others in we needed to get rid of our high earners lets hope by getting rid of Doyle he does bring cover in.

Baffling if you ask me. Play him correctly and watch him score. Never a number 10 ffs

Another player used as a scapegoat by many of you on here yet never played to his strengths or in his correct position. Poor management.
