I heard someone behind me shout Bambi on Saturday after he had come on, made me lol at the time.

 

He's a bit of a big lump for a bambi. I actually thought he had been doing OK back end of last season. Not as bad as some were making out. But oh dear Saturday was poor

 

Totally agree… hes clearly an athletic lad but footballing ability looks lacking. Again another mark on the recruitment team for last year.

 

Spot on as I see it also. I don’t like player bashing so will refrain from doing so, but as I see it, your points on Osadebe are constructive and accurate. I wish I had seen the performances in last seasons pre-season, when apparently he looked decent. Sadly all I have seen is the cameo bench performances where I cannot remember one that he had a significant impact on.

As you mention, he strangely is often the first sub we make, which is even more confusing. Screams of a player needing regular football if he is to regain the performance levels he needs.

Energy and passion are there - sadly that’s all I can see from him now and it isn’t enough to be anywhere near our starting XI and I’d even challenge our match day squad right now.

 

Yes, he desperately needs regular football, but clearly isn't anywhere near that for us, going by the comments about Saturday's cameo. I didn't see it myself.

Obviously only Bury, but when he came on in the second-half he looked decent in the first friendly of the season. Involved in everything, dropping back to collect the ball, first time passes into feet. Even my mate, who has played at a reasonable standard and is a Man U season ticket holder, noted his performance. I do think there is a decent footballer there, but a clear lack of confidence at the moment.

 

He’s not far off Kai Brunker imo. When he comes on, he’s so charged up, he forgets where he’s actually meant to play. He’s all over the place. His ball control is clumsy, and he’s apt to diving into tackles when it’s not needed. I really don’t see what he brings to the team when he’s introduced, other than panic.

 

Sadly he's just not very good. There's nothing throughout his career to suggest otherwise, either.

He'll be gone after this season. Perhaps even in January.

 

Unfortunately his mind and body seem uncoordinated therefore every run or dribble he does he is off balance. He would probably do better not trying to do everything at 90 miles an hour

 

Exactly right Park, trying to be too fast and over eager .

He knows he’s a lot of ground to catch up on, he just needs to wind down…..He’s like a Jack in a box off the pitch as well!

 

His first touch involved a beautiful nutmeg. Unfortunately it was himself he nutmegged, and then shinned it in to touch.

The original bambi was the great carlton palmer.

 

Skill on Saturday was better when he managed to tackle himself, the ball broke back to him and he smashed his attempted cross into halliday

 

Should have kept abbo Eisa much better player in my opinion scored two tonight

 

I don't think anyone would have kept Eisa after all the injuries, if we're being honest with ourselves.

But Osadebe looked really bad tonight.

He's becoming a worry if he can't even control a ball.

 

Then got nutmegged by Macdonald on a pass he misread. I actually really want him to come on one game and have a stormer but just doesn’t look like happening.

 

Osadebe needs to be moved on. Shocking player. We should be giving the cameo role to Pointon.

 

Ah the halcyon days of DMH have returned

 

I gave him the benefit of the doubt after what happened last season but deary me he is dreadful.

 

Been saying it for weeks. He’s positionless. Happy he’s over his double fracture but it’s time to loan him out/move him on, to free up some of the budget. Hopefully a National League club is in need of a ‘utility’ player
