He was with Derbyshire and Threlkeld on Sat, walking about on Manningham Lane in his tracksuit. Presumed they weren’t in the squad as this was about 12.15 ish. think the players might park near the barracks over the road?

Is he injured at the minute?

Nice to see him recover from his leg breaks but he’s a positionless, headless chicken. we need to be offloading asap.

It’s going to take him some time to get over that tackle. You can see he doesn’t commit fully which is not what we need.

He’s a bit of a Bambi on ice player. Doesn’t seem to be fully aware of what his legs are doing or where he’s going. Just runs with the ball until he loses it, even when a simple pass is on.

He’s another dreadful signing from the Stephen Gent stable of crap players.

We'll never know whether the player we signed was good enough, but all I can go by is what I've seen since his return which is sadly that hes nowhere near professional standard.

There are some credentials of a half decent player in there somewhere. He has great athleticism, he can run, he can glide past players with ease and he's willing to put the shift in, running the miles, tracking back etc.

What lets him down is the fact that his positioning / general football intelligence is well below par and he doesn't seem to have any sort of end product, whether that be a shot on goal or that final pass or cross.

Whether or not he can become a useful asset to us remains open to debate.

He flopped at his last club Walsall whose fans laughed at us signing him. He is nowhere near good enough for us

So all those things you say he can do are outweighed by what he can't do.

He can run and glide past players but has zero end product. We've seen absolutely nothing from him.

Another dreadful signing we paid a fee for.

A player who seems to have credit in the bank for some fans based on an energetic 6 minute performance last season against Donny before his unfortunate injury.

Another of the multitude of players down the years who become Zidane whenever they have a spell out of the team.

Since Sparks became CEO he deserves credit for off the field commercial activities and doing a lot of work to bring more money in. However we have had multiple heads of recruitment and managers, no matter who’s been in charge of the football side of things we’ve continually wasted good money after bad. In my opinion we need a proper director of football to over see operations and bring more accountability and cut out the wastage.

Can I just add, not sure who saw the game today, or was at the game.
Osadebe, much like many of the pre season games was a breath of fresh air today.
He came on and tried different things, played some great balls and caused threat after a performance where the rest of the side (bar a couple of exceptions) were pedestrian, lethargic and clueless.
Finding it hard to bite my lip here, but the comments in here after todays match are so wide of the mark it’s untrue.
Most players got booed off today, there’s a reason Osadebe was one of only three or four who got clapped off

Booed off first game, love to see it. How it needs to be going forward. Too many for too long have accepted mediocrity around this club and it needs to change. Some folk will have kittens but balls to them.

The sooner the clapping whatever mentality changes the better.

For me, he’s the worst player I’ve seen since Bruenker

    That’s a bold statement.

Intrigued here, why is Osadebe copping for it when he was one of a few players who came out with credit today?

By a country mile not even in the worst few current players never mind since Bruenker
