Struggling to justify forking out a tenner to watch it

 

Bit surprised Stuart wants to play the kids again tonight. I would've thought that considering we haven't played in 10 days and don't play until Monday night it would be a strong side to build up some sharpness.

 

Maybe we can get another loan signing off them.
Ohhh no scratch that seedorf springs to mind.

 

I wouldn't risk many of the first team tonight. We cant afford any injuries in such a meaningless game.
Will not be spending £10 to watch this either.

I would have gone under normal circumstances.
I do think the pitch will get cut up tonight though.

 

If Stuart uses a few youngsters I won't be bothered.
It will give him an idea of who is progressing and may
step up to first team if injuries and suspensions occur.

These matches are pretty pointless as the fans don't care
but playing them with that attitude probably will result
in losing and that ain't good at any level to build confidence.

 

There is prize money to play for, if we are skint then don’t throw the game playing a weak team. If money is no issue then fair enough. Personally I would play a strong team as we will be undercooked going into the next game. I remember when we were relegated and had an amazing run through December to start of January then we had two weeks off and looked appalling for the rest of the season, they’d only be training if not playing anyway.

With no game last weekend I think we’d be silly to chuck the kids in. Surely this is an opportunity to play the strongest 11 to keep them building the match fitness and get a big win?

Highlights how few viable options we have up front. I know its not going to happen, but in my opinion we need 2 strikers, never mind the 1 we are struggling to get in.
