I can see positives, and have talked about them on this forum.

but I remain critical of our owner, i remain concerned for the future of the club, and I remain concerned that we are heading backwards. if those with a positive opinion of the current climate and the future are allowed to post about it every day then I should be able to post my opinions too.
and when we have something else to talk about (new signings, when the new season starts etc) then I will do so, but for now the new coach and the on going owner debate is kinda the only thing happening.

 

This also depends on whether Edin is borrowed up to the hilt, we know Stefan isn't short of a bob or two so he could take a loss on the chin but it might have a huge financial impact on Edin if this project doesn't work out.

 

Not if you haven't funded it, or put it another way, finance has been gained in order to purchase the 28% and the clock is ticking on the repayment.

Think of it as PCP when buying a car, X amount of years down the road the car goes back unless you can stump up the outstanding finance to the lender.

That sounds about right, obviously neither want to take a hit but I know who's shoes I'd rather be in if the club did, we fans don't want it or we all suffer, that's what IMO makes the latest appointments so crucial to the club going forward.

They said they were in it for the long term but they also said and presumably planned that we’d have Championship football in 3 years. Can anyone see this strategy as really ambitious? Maybe it is.
The statements of not being able to compete with other clubs and we have to do it a different way may be way off the mark off how it was sold to Rupp. Rupp is n’t a football fan. It’s simply an investment. For Edin this is an investment but he is also living his dream.

If this season goes bad, and I hope it does n’t, will Rupp still have faith in Edin? If Rupp then receives an offer he may decide to put his money elsewhere. Edin needs to keep him believing. That’s one of the reasons Edin does n’t like negative social media comments. Rupp views it from afar to see how the fans are reacting. It’s also worth remembering that when Julian and Mark sold, Mark wanted to stay but he had to go. If we really have the makings of a new consortium, this season’s success or lack of could be critical to whether they are here long term.

It's boring me, it's pathetic, it's bordering on xenophobic at times. Frankly I don't give a feck who he's disposed of behind the scenes because the fact is this club had absolutely no foundations when Larry & Everard left, owned nothing, made money for others through the shop and catering, had poor ticketing, a stadium that was starting to creak, a pitch that wasn't fit for Campion to play on and had everything thrown into the player budget.

Long term that heads one way if the shit hits the fan - administration. Lessons weren't learnt from our previous administrations, mainly because one of the owners remained constant.

Our new owners have quickly realised that you can't get promoted from L1 and in the long term build for better by having a league 1 structure. Long term I believe our new owners will build us into a stronger club and I'm prepared to wait. If I want instant gratification I can always use Redtube or go round to Fordy's and pay for a go on his midgets.
