Maybe Hughes wasn't bothered about moving it but Alexander sees the benefit of so we've now agreed to the fixture being changed, the other games were moved in the summer just after fixtures were released so realistically it has to be a late change of mind from either club or the police. These are the other fixtures that have been changed to the Friday, ultimately if the footballing staff think it's beneficial to move it then their view will always be above the views of the fans

 

Well that went well Was looking forward to the Saturday game had promised the grandkids that I'd take em to their first away game , as we would have had plenty of tickets , thought I was being smart , booked the train tickets already for us , so now I'll be working so unlikely to be able to go, and will have to let em down . Hope for selfish reason there's a train strike so I can recoup the train fare back , twice now planning ahead don't work Crewe revisited , can accept weather postponements but this is a disappointment , bloody Friday night

 

That is not nice. Letting children down is always heartbreaking. Hope you can get to an away match soon with the enthusiastic young bantams.

It beggars belief.....does the club not think that we'll take less fans on the Friday night than on the Saturday afternoon.

Was going to be a pre Christmas day out with my lads but not now due to work....am getting more disgruntled by Mr Sparks all the time....

 

It can go on ifollow if it's a Friday night. The club will be plugging it nearer the time.
Possibly an extra £30k in the coffers.

Nobody gives a feck about iFollow. You can get iFollow on a Saturday 3pm if you know what you’re doing.
Proper fans want to attend games and moving it to a Friday night makes that more difficult.

Indeed it does, but you can't buy alcohol until 9am. I know, I've tried.

 

Well fingers crossed people manage to get there. The last game before Xmas day is always a good vibe & atmosphere regardless of how we play, especially when local. Everybody is buzzing to be on holiday, it is a fantastic feeling

 

I can't see a sell out myself. Let's wait and see.
