I have always said his goalscoring record was poor and I certainly wouldn’t have signed him but when he is playing well like I thought he did today I think he links play up well and makes the team more cohesive

 

Billy Clarke is a waste of space on the football pitch.

Can't take seriously that you thought he was back to his best. He is a poor player and another wasteful signing by Bradford City.

Awful player now.

 

Yer, I don't really rate him but if he was assisting goals or scoring then he'd be worth his place the same as anyone.

 

But all that means nothing when we don't score!

But there's no bloody pattern. We change the personnel every week but we've no system. We're just shuffling the pack and hoping for the best and it never comes because this squad is so completely unbalanced.
Anyway it doesn't matter because we're down and we're going down without really fighting.

I left with 7 minutes of injury time as a train needed to be caught.

This is exactly as I saw it, although Chicksen was better than a 6. Best I’ve seen him play.

Butterfield is ineffective in that deep role and had maybe his poorest game for us.

Yet again City help a club end an abysmal record.
Pity the ball did not find the back of the net when it hit the post and bounced out - good move and play by the individuals involved.
Yes some poor teams in this division and yet we stand bottom - which shows how bad we are as team thanks to Mr Rahic

 

He really wasn’t, he was average at best. Players with mentions today were Paudie O’Connor who kept a very good striker quiet, Caddis who constantly stands out, Lewis O’Brien and David Ball. Nobody played badly but O’Donnell has to do better with the goal. Its the only thing he had to do. I think Bowyer now realises why this club is where it is, why manager after manager has failed, why Hopkin walked after being adamant he was here for the long haul.
Such a disappointment that our league one campaign is dying out while seemingly waving the white flag. Two seasons of sheer utter incompetence at the too level has left us a bare shell of the team that fought so valiantly to become an expected fixture in the playoff battle.
Make no mistake this war was lost a long time before Gary Bowyer came to the club. Its going to take a lot longer than an eleven games to turn this sinking ship around.
Lets see what he can do next season.

 

Well I thought Bowyer would have been wiser to leave Clarke on and take Ball off who was clearly shattered. I thought Clarke linked up with Butterfield quite well, they read each other. I thought Paudie O'Connor had a good game. A couple of times he miscontrolled the ball and is still learning, but that aside I thought his decision making was good and he gave as good as he got with Marquis.
Overall, aside from the mistake from O'Donnell for the goal, I thought they played OK.
The real problem as ever is that we don't have anyone who can stick the ball in the net regularly. Shame Doyle's good effort didn't go in off the post.

 

I would of rather Wright started than Anderson for sure.
