I think he is showing enough to say once he has his own players in positions we badly need he can turn these 1-0 narrow defeats into wins.

 

And there defines the extent of your footballing knowledge.

Not sure considering he played 1 up today and had no forward on the bench and makes subs at around the 70 minute mark but hope you're right.

 

I thought we played ok today, similar to last week at Charlton where we were punished for one sloppy bit of play. The same old problem, absolutely f*ck all in the top 3rd of the pitch. If we’d had a target man type replacement for Wyke would we be bottom 4 - probably....but would we have been 7 points adrift - no.

Poor from ghost hands O’Donnell for the goal. Vastly over rated keeper. Problem is no matter how poor he is, there is no competition for his position.

 

Agree but will the wages of the dross we are committed to keeping allow him to bring in enough of his own players?

 

Did you really think Bowyer would make a difference in the last eleven games? Really?

With what? You do realise this club has been doomed way before Bowyer came in. Bowyer isn't a magician, he can't suddenly turn Doyle into half decent striker with pace and strength, he wasn't the one diving over the ball for Doncasters goal. He wasn't the one that brought completely the wrong players to the club in pre season or January. He isn't the one that failed to shoot when in a good position at Charlton. Anyone who thought he could possibly get a tune out of this squad knows nothing about football, you could have put a fork in use at the beginning of February cos we were done.

1 up front wasn't an issue. We could have had 5 up front and still not have scored with the quality of the service which was coming into the box.

Miller wasn't on the bench because of the loan rule. And he's shite anyway so it wouldn't have made a difference.

Yes, I agree the subs should've come a bit earlier but maybe scannell only had 20 minutes in him.

 

There isn't a manager out there who would have done any different with this squad. Not one. No one has the first clue how Bowyer will do next season, could be a success there again might not. Like i said to Fordy, this club was destined to go down as soon as Rahic ripped up the Wembley squad and not one manager that has come in since then has made one iota of difference. You might be right, Bowyer might turn out to be an abject failure. But lets give him time to build his own squad first. At the moment he's having to deal with the shite left behind by others.
