Disgraceful so called supporters

If anyone is deemed to have acted like a dickhead and is a reason we have future allocations cut, then aslong as those who caused the allocation to be cut are the ones to miss out in the future then there isn't an issue.

I still can't get the mentality of those in the east stand who spent 90min and the run up to kick off moaning about not being behind the goal.

 

Apart from the few.people on this thread I haven't heard anywhere else, either social media or friends where anyone complained about Saturday. Infact the opposite, everyone mentioning it was the best away for a long time. More of the same please.

Well we won so the OP couldn’t create a thread about the season been over so had to moan about something, I doubt anyone else would have bothered to create one if they didn’t.

It's not always down to the club, the police have a the biggest say in it. We will only have got the extra allocation for Saturday after the police gave it the go ahead.

 

The point is that we've got people in the fan base who think that vandalism is part of a good day. It only takes a minority to spoil it for the majority.

 

sadly that goes for the majority of clubs who tend to have big followings ........... I mean if there had been mass disorder then fair enough but there wasn’t ......... the folk who ran on to the pitch will be no doubt punished so what’s the issue .......... we went into a pub just 5 mile outside Donny and I bet they loved that they could have 140 fans on the per Scot free and I bet that was the case around all the pubs but rather than highlighting how brilliantly behaved 99% of our fan base where we concentrate on a few ...............and I ain’t heard of any complaint from the Donny lot a hell of a lot praising what an attmosphere created

 

It was a brilliant day, a few kids getting rowdy didn't spoil it.

 

It’s nothing new, compared to the 70’s and perhaps 80’s it looked like a picnic. There was a problem in those days if there wasn’t trouble.

 

Agree my first involvement with regards Anfield was the second leg of the Milk Cup or whatever it was called back in the day, I don't believe the guys who tried to rob us were Liverpool fans but at the time it really didn't matter, having said that me and my brother spent a great couple of hours in "The Arkle" with a great bunch of Reds before the game back in the 2000/01 season and the banter was as good as we've enjoyed in our time of watched City.

Well having read through all the posts in this thread I can see both sides of the debate, I've had away days spoilt in the past because of my fellow City fans but apart from the few clowns who believe its OK to throw anything onto the pitch more so smoke bombs I enjoyed the day.
The odd one or two spilling out onto the pitch when Cook scored shouldn't reflect on the other 4,000 who were a credit to Bradford City, one of the stewards was targeted with a bit of banter with regards him being a Michael van Gerwen look alike (poor sod), the support we gave the team was very vocal.

suppose the issue is if the police insist on more of them due to previous incidents it increases the cost for those clubs so they then have to balance the extra income against the extra cost

 

It's a bit naive to think that. We have various games this season moved to 1pm kick offs. Before Carlisle caused trouble at Hartlepool last season the away end allowed 900 fans, now it's been cut to 750 with the front few rows being covered.

 

I get it if it was happening game after game but it isn’t is it ?????
I have done 3 local games this season, Salford, Mansfield and Doncaster all with decent away filling and I bet all 3 passed off with hardly any bother ............ maybe the folk who went through the 70s and 80s regard this as nothing compared to what they had to put up with ............ South Yorkshire police I bet had an easy day compared to others that have arrived there on mass ............. u ain’t trying to defend the odd loon but my word the way folk are going on you would have thought that they where going around hitting women and kids ............. a few got on the pitch a pyro was thrown not that bad considering the size of the following and how pissed up folk where

 

That is due to the seats been damaged nothing to do with a reduced allocation. Hartlepool still haven’t bothered to fix them despite telling their fans in the summer they would. The seats were damaged by the Carlisle fans last season.

 

you ever thought that was down to the Hartlepool lot as well ????.............btw one of the Hartlepool lot was up in court mocking the events of 85 so that may have been reason for the bother
