There was nothing between the sides bar a 3rd goal for us and a manager who really does want to win every game. None of this happy with a point bollocks.

 

They will be a very strong side at home not many teams will come away with all 3 points this season.

 

There isn't one team in this god forsaken division we should be worried about, not one. We had chances to win at Exeter and should have won at Forest in the cup and Adams alludes to that in his interviews. My only worry is our squad which lacks depth in certain postions. Injuries and fatigue to players like Cook or Cooke and we have nothing to replace them with. Bring two quality players in this week and we go up without a doubt, this aint like when we were in the playoffs under Bowyer and certain posters on here couldn't see the bleeding obvious in front of their face. This team actually can play and fight out results.

 

Tell you what I like about Adams even before kick off he is looking at the players and how they are warming up before a game having little chats with them. Can't remember the last manager to do that before kick off.

 

But can he pronounce the players names

We’ve had a few seasons where we’ve got off to flyers but they’ve gradually petered out. It seems different this time though, we seem to have a bit more steel about us.

The main worry is injuries.

 

Yes they will play to his strengths. I watched their first goal again…Paudie should have stopped the cross coming in, and boy he knew it. Head down in disappointment. Watch it again Dave, you will see what I mean.

 

A good start but that's all. A start.

Adams look a find but as the man said himself, judge Bradford City (and Adams) in May.

One objective and that is promotion. Especially with c12. 5% of points needed already in the bag.

Not being negative (or any other narrative) but 15 days into the season, is ridiculous to be comparing to Jewell or Parkinson.

Ive been really impressed with his no nonsense approach.

loved that interview with the quotes about playing a playstation if you want pretty passing in your own half.

we’ve looked very exciting going forward. The players look bang up for it under him and the fans are all behind him. We’ll find out about our true character after we suffer a league defeat but the way we’ve shown resilience after losing in the cup at Forest and the character shown to fight back from 2-1 down on Sat makes me very, very optimistic.

The signs were there at Morecambe they conceded more than most and scored more had very little possession yet won games.
What has surprised me Is the different tactics employed in the matches so far. Fans of his previous clubs seemed to imply he only had one way of playing

 

Gotta be perspective. Its far too easy to get carried away. The aims and goals are underway but a long way from complete.
I know you speak in jess but these notations of up by Christmas and such, is blind sided. This league of 24 teams will throw up surprises, inconsistenty and I'm sure we will be party to these.

 

There will inevitably be bumps in the road and they can wait. After the last few years I just feel like enjoying the positivity. (As long as it lasts).

 

I am being positive. And realistic.

 

I'm being naive hoping a manager could be in it for the long haul.

I really think that's what we need though, a successful manager willing to stay for a decade.

Its almost more important than an owner

 

I'm starting to worry City and the T&A didn't get the memo about the drop from 22 to 20 senior players this season. Adams has talked about not wanting anyone to leave, yet he also wants to make another couple of quality signings before the window closes. Then this morning, Parker is talking about the possibility of Bogle in addition to those 2 players Adams wanted before Angol got injured. I'm not the greatest at maths but something doesn't add up.
