Look Jon, not going to get into a full blown....i just want to watch football, my son's an i just want to watch football. If the "problem" as you put it goes away is everyhthing fixed? Its every bloody thread Jon, every thread hijacked with the same complaint, even if starts as a "football" thread. We lose its Edin's fault, the pies are cold its Edin's fault etc etc.

There isn't a queue waiting to buy them out so for me i'll just stick to the footy sorry.

You won’t win. But I agree with every word.

I want to see a good football team and enjoy my Saturdays. People are so involved in politics and he said this and he did this these days it’s tedious to me.

I don't want to fall out with a fellow supporter. Some have clearly nailed their colours to a certgain mast....i just choose to ignore that. I'm not burrying my head, i just want to follow the team.

If you don’t agree with them and call Edin a see you next Tuesday at every opportunity you are a happy clapper and are accepting our decline apparently.

I can agree with this, my Saturdays are enjoyable. Just not the 90 minutes between three and quarter to five.

We all want to concentrate on the football, but the prospect of relegation is abysmal after we had made such progress. Plus the football is not good atm if it was we could concentrate on the football. I understand your position, this constant negative vibes round the club is painful tbh. Fans are all different and therefore vent their emotions differently.

This is where I'm at with it.

it's all well and good saying get behind the team and all that every week, but that doesn't achieve what we NEED to achieve in order to move forward as a football club.
we need to try and intiate change at the top to have any hope of recovery as a club, and as a team - and if that takes away a little from support for the players in C&A on match day then I'm afraid, so be it.

    Here’s a scenario for you.

Rupp agrees with the majority of fans and gets rid of Rahic in whatever way he has to.

He then appoints another bloke to run the club who is not from England and doesn’t know the game. What then? Do we just move onto someone else?

I don’t see them going anywhere unless they paid out at least minimum what they put in

it's not just Rahic. they both need to go.
Rupp doesn't give a toss about the club, and Rahic is clueless. theyre both poison for this club.

Lets face it, what we thought we were getting and what we actually got are two entirely different things. We now have a guy whose dream it was to own a football club but couldn't afford to being backed by a guy who knows nothing about football. One wants the kudos associated with being an owner of a football club, the other wants a return on his investment. On a personal level i was hoping to see two businessmen with the finance and acumen to take us to the next level.

I've yet to see them supply either.

So someone needs to buy them out then.

They won’t leave of their own accord

I do sympathise with you, and I'm not trying to big anyone up or put anyone down, but my parents for example will go no matter what because they enjoy going to the game, it's what they do.

I've no issue with that, and I've largely been the same for the past 20 years.

But honestly, it's not for me at this point in time. I have lost my connection with the club, don't really like any of the players, don't particularly care about Hopkin, actively dislike Rahic, and everything goes back to the same thing for me - the club was doing fine, someone decided to interfere massively and change everything because they thought they were clever, and it's basically ruined football and supporting City as an experience for me because I KNOW FOR A FACT the massive decline is all down to one muppet who should politely step away and never come back (apart from as a paying fan).

I'm basically not buying a season ticket next season unless there's massive change, so as happy as I am for people to go and watch the game, I would like the same level of respect shown to me if I decide to protest in any peaceful form (probably by not attending).

I get that you're sick of the same old debate, but really, why even is there a debate?

I might come on and every post might basically be 'screw Rahic' because that's how I feel, but there's always one or two numpties who can't let those posts just be and engage in arguments about how it isn't his fault or whatever. Well, if people don't want to debate, don't debate. It's fine. Do your own thing, I'll do mine.

I'll stay angry at Rahic, and you stay in the stands watching the footie. I'm not going to have a go at you about it, but I will obviously respond if people say I shouldn't be doing whatever it is I do or not posting whatever it is I post. But that's a discussion forum for ya.

Very little chance of Rahic being fired by Rupp because he'd have to put more money in to buy him out as well as find a new CEO and possibly DOF.

Do you think Stefan Rupp is that thick, not that I know many successful businessmen personally but I would think most make a mistake only the once, but even an experienced CCO or CEO does not bring guaranteed success.
We are in a mess mate and unfortunately the off field antics and the on field performances are equally as bad, lets hope Hopkin can save the season.

If you try go to the games and not think about the owners and concentrate on what goes on in front of you 90 minutes, you’d feel a lot better.

I doubt it. because then he'd just be focusing on how ridiculously inept and crap all our players are, and focusing on City getting humped.
at least at the moment we know why we're so crap.
