Is this an online version of Cluedo? Then my guess is Ducky, in the garden shed, with a 24 pack of Taddys.

Are you suggesting a group of people want things to get really bad, so they can buy the club on the cheap?

It's almost as if someone has seen an opportunity to form a consortium and get the club on the cheap?

Very good article on WOAP this morning. Think everyone needs to think very carefully about what is best for the future of the club, both immediate and long-term. While everyone is justified in their anger, there is a very vocal minority letting their emotions run away with them. We need the vast majority of intelligent and sensible fans to take a measured approach and rein in the small minority.

Interesting that WOAP mentions Rahic has accepted he needs to take a step back. Let's hope this translates into better results. At the moment I think that's what we should focus on as fans, support the team and the new manager.

We just have to give the team and Hopkin our support. In doing that will not let Rahic off the hook, it means we as a group of fans are being more responsible than he is. If he has changed his behaviour and plans, then that is something to celebrate and he needs to communicate that publicly.

The WOAP article penned by Jason McKeown you refer to, is the best piece I've ever read on there, or anywhere for that matter, relating to Rahic and the way fans feel about the running of the club.
A very good measured article well worth a read

If Rahic can accept he's made mistakes then we might finally start to make progress. Even he isn't stupid enough to realise alienating the majority of your fan base is a good idea. I know there are hard decisions to make in football club ownership, a lot of them won't go down well with the supporters, but when you make a pair of complete pair of novices a football management team after two experienced heads struggled with the set up, and it goes tits up after 6 games, don't expect the fans to just shrug their shoulder when you tell the fans you were trying something different.
I'm now sat at the last chance saloon, i'm prepared to give Hopkin the time to build what he sees as his own squad, this season is already a write off because we are so behind we might as well be in the first week of pre season. But Rahic needs to start showing me he is finally learning from his blatant mistakes, if i see what i see as being more fundamental errors of judgement rather than sensible business accumen i'll walk away until he has left. I always believe in giving people a chance to correct themselves, if they are prepared to listen to advice and use it wisely. Not all advice is good, there are plenty of billy bullshitters out there, but no one wants Rahic to fail on purpose.

I think the 'Width of a Post' article is deserving of its own thread, so I have copied over the posts that refer to it to a new thread.

Would there have been any need if they'd have done as they said they would from the start of their tenure, put here very well by Lawson

On the 24th May 2016, Rahic was recorded as making this comment, “We do not have plans to make big changes but to work with the existing structure. We have seen the way the club and fans interact and the model of affordable football is very important to us”.
A very straightforward and reassuring remark. Something to set the tone and ethos of their ownership.
However the ensuing period has not seen ‘evolution’ but rather ‘revolution’, with virtually everything and everyone involved in the club, going in the ensuing 27 months.
In my view this has been a chaotic process, which has damaged the very core of Bradford City, which sadly is in danger of becoming another club, which is mired by the total breakdown between the vast majority of supporters and the owners.
Hopkins may have the necessary skills to produce a winning side, but if he is constantly undermined, then he will surely fail.
Now is the time for Rahic, to stand back, appoint staff with the appropriate relevant skills, to run the club, his over involvement is alienating just about everyone. If he will not listen and learn, then perhaps Rupp is the only one who can communicate with him on a level which he will respond to.
Time for Stefan Rupp to stand up and realise that this cannot go on!

Like it or not or present situation has been brought on mainly by Edin but Stefan can't go without criticism for standing by and watching from the sidelines, or maybe not watching at all because he trusted his co-chairman.

If Lawson had posted it on here I'd say ***WINNER***

That vocal minority as you say seems to represent 90% of every poll linked to wanting them out. So let's not pretend they represent just a few people. If you use the polls pro rata to the season tickets then you're looking at 14000 ish fans they represent and at a guess the 4000 non renewals. I'd say the vocal minority are those who don't want change

English is a funny thing though because it's easy to interpet Edin's quote in a number of ways, for example....

“We do not have plans to make big changes but to work with the existing structure." Probably the structure is the same but lots of people have changed/gone but he didn't talk about keeping people he talked about keeping the structure.

"We have seen the way the club and fans interact and the model of affordable football is very important to us”. The model of affordable football has remained.

So, it is possible to say he's been true to his word on this quote. Of course, others can come with a different analysis which is why even quotes are so hard to agree on at times!

Who knows what he thought he meant by 'existing structure'.

Just sounds like words to me.

After 27 months of their stewardship I think I know which way it was said, but hay everyone has an opinion.
