That's the point @Keefly Bantam , think you and I might disagree on this but i'm all for folk taking action they think best for their family even in these troublesome times, not agreeing with blatantly flouting regulations but thinking of/for themselves on occasions...

I'm not using right wing as an insult, but as a statement of fact. I'm not accusing you of being a fascist or ultra-nationalist Tommy Robinson type, or anything like that.
Apart from a few remaining centrists on the left of the party, such as Ken Clarke, most of the Tory Party is right wing and would be proud to own that. Cummings didn't "win" the Brexit vote at all. The apathy of the remain vote did that.

That's only part of the reason. The most important part is that he wants to destroy the neutrality of our judiciary and civil service. These are fundamental tenets of our democracy. But apparently that's ok as long as he gets Brexit done.

 

I agree , but getting the public to understand these unique children can be difficult , 1 of my children suffered very badly from ADHD , getting help back in the late 70s was very difficult ,i was repeatable told my schools and doctors it was just a behaviouralproblem , which he would eventually grow out off . The doctors prescribed Ritalin , which in my honest unmedical opinion made the problems worse , because it surpressed most signs of his behaviour it was deemed a miracle cure all . After a while the dosage was upped because it wasen't as effective . It wasen't recognised except by a few enlightened health officials , you are correct in your point its not an illness , but with the right approach ie struchered days etc can reduce the the triggers . The fact that people seem to think the required care is available at the drop of a hat or even with the neighbours baby sitting are i'm affraid sadly misleading. The tut tutting still resonates when he had a little outburst in public places , but the more we learn about autism perhaps people may in future show a little more sympathy . Having said that whether Mr cummings young child is or is not autistic i dont feel the matter is up to be debaited in public . If it turns out that this was a lie then he deserves all he gets . If on the other hand it's true then perhaps people should show more compassion .

 

She really needs to chose her company better.

I believe some of the coverage of resent events have been lets say a little bias, Emily Maitlis comment the other day was typical when your giving information to viewers you really should be telling them the facts not her interpretation.
Emily introduced Tuesday's show by saying the prime minister's chief adviser had "broken the rules" and "the country can see that, and it's shocked the government cannot".
