    Wonder if we'll see anything of Zeli Ismail this Saturday? Just listened to the Radio L@@ds BCFC monthly show from Wednesday and O'Donnell was on. He said that Zeli looked really good in training this week and said he was the most skilful player at the club. Let's see if he plays any part.

    Marvellous. Just opened my ticket envelope for the game today and lo, City ticket office has sent me a ticket for Stevenage and not Crewe! No answer at City but Crewe have put one aside for me.

    Formation predictions today?
    OD
    Mellor Everton OC Wood
    Ismail Cooke Devit Pritchard
    Vaughan Donaldson

    WAY too attacking for an away game.

    But I don't think Ismail is fit to start, and I am not sure if Pritchard prefers the left or right wing. If Ismail is not fit, then it could be Pritchard on the right, Wood on the left, and Henley/Longbridge at left back.

    Or we play 433. Or we play a diamond formation if McCarten is fit. What about GB's favourites Gibson, Devine, Akpan too?

    Or we play one up front as it's away.

    Worrying for me, is that six or seven games in, we haven't found the correct starting formation yet.

    I have no info but Y Post today hinting Zeli may play, another possible reason why Scannell gone, Zeli fit again.

    Just looking at our summer business and squad balance, I don't think Bowyer has any intention of using wingers anyway. Probably just a plan B or C option.

    This lot are well renowned for playing footy so I can see them passing round and through us all day whilst Devine, Akpan and Palmer chase shadows with our "let's try and keep tight 'cos we're away from home" approach which will see us limited to ineffectively slow counter attacks and arguably the best strike force in the division chasing hoofs from Mellor and O'Connor.

    I'm not feeling inspired but I've reckoned on a 1-1 draw.
