Why would you not ask about Reeves?? Why we don't come to a payoff agreement with him, Akpan and Patrick God only knows we would deffo save money and probably get a player with the saving.

 

How would we save money unless they are willing to accept a pay off less than their pay which why would they unless they can find a club. If they could find a club surely they would have already gone

 

I would happily take 4 points from every 2 away games, irrespective of performances

Points wise yes, but performing like that we won't be as lucky as we have been for the rest of the season. We'll drop more points than gain playing in the manner we have over the course of the season.

 

Hmmmmmmmmm, scannell is not fit/well, what a shocker but it could be a positive as Bowyer might go for the diamond again with Devitt behind Vaughan and Donaldson, with scannell and ismail on the bench.
Would rather see our forwards link up than Donaldson running the wings again.
Lack width again but Clayton really isn't a winger.
Of course Bowyer will stick with the sloth-like Hopeless despite what we all see.
If Bowyer sticks with his beloved 4-3-3 then you might be asking for too much if you want a couple of shots on target in 45 minutes.

In what part of that sentence did I state I expect us to play like Man City? I just expect not to play 4-5-1 against Forest Green at home or not to create any chances. I don't expect fluid football but I would like to watch us go out and attempt to win games when we have the firepower to do so. Baffling to think that you find our play is entertaining and is good enough at the moment? Only my opinion but I think we've been way under par and needs to vastly improve if we want to be in the top 3. Why sign Strikers with the quality of Vaughan and Donaldson and refuse to play with any width? When we've crossed the ball we've looked really dangerous.

I don't think anyone is expecting man city levels of dominance. But what I expect is for us to be attacking teams, especially at VP and showing a desire from the first minute, to win the game. Not employing negative defensive tactics at home against a dreadful side like Forest Green.

 

Few assumptions made there then.

I’ve never stated we are playing entertaining football but results don’t lie whether people like it or not.

We haven’t played well but picked up points so far.

We are a division 4 team. Whoever we’ve got two good midfielders in the building now who will give us other options. We will continue to get better imo

 

It’s a long old season. We will get there

 

Certainly hope so. We've had 5 games now so starting this week I'd expect to start seeing some improvement.
