No mate Bradford End, as you know you served your time in the Bradford End and then you were allowed out to mix with the normal fans, some great memories, and some not so good.

What about all those chair cushions that used to end up on the pitch after a poor display

I'll point it out to you on Monday, the terraced house behind was where the players changed and then went down to the cellar in the house which was connected by a tunnel to the left hand corner flag thats now the North West stand the teams ran up the steps, I'm told ;).

I’m sure you won’t be watching Oliver and Derbyshire as our strike force. There will have to be a bit of a revamp when Cook goes.Expect more comings and going’s in the summer.

Me and our lad had to pick them up and return them to the cushion hut behind the old wooden stand where they wouldbe stacked up awaiting the next home game.

Hughes must know that he wasted a fair chunk of the budget on youngsters who haven't made the grade. We have a massive squad but only use around 18-20 of them. He needs quality not quantity next season. With the exception of East and Chapman, no one else has been given a chance. Whether East hangs around is still to be seen.

The kick in the bollocks for not getting a point last night, means we can't give the likes of Cook, Gilliead and Walker a rest, or East, Osadebe, Kelly and Pierera a run out.

Reality is take Cook and Lewis out of the team. We are a mediocre bottom half Div 2 team. Recruitment has been poor and our loans have been terrible with exception of Wright.

PS Get Agyei signed for next season. Need a dynamic player with pace and power. Left Stubbs for dead.

Bradford City without Cook & Lewis = Harrogate Town with fans.

I don’t think recruitment has been that poor it’s the management of what what we have that has lacked at times

The lad has earned himself one last big pay day. And we all know how important a goal scorer is. As Wrexham showed with Mullin it really is the difference between success and failure. All depends what offer is put on the table from us and any potential suitors. Don't think Wrexham would be interested but then dafter things have happened.

Agyei was excellent. I can't remember the last time we had a striker who actually run at players (and beat them). Banks possibly - he had a great run in the second half, where he picked it up in our penalty area, found himself some space, and just burst past their player, who then dragged him back because there was no option. We should definitely utilise his pace more, but it seems the oppo always put a few on him when he's out on the left wing. Halliday doesn't help, by firing the ball with way too much space directly at Bank's feet, it always means he has to stop or turn towards the ball, rather than run onto it.

Cook's standing is at a high at the moment which shouldn't surprise anybody given his goals record this season. I believe he's also improved as a player in the second half of the season. He is now less selfish and willing to bring others into scoring positions. We all know that and I'm sure some lower league managers are equally aware.

At his age, as you say he will be looking for one more contract and a final payday. If he goes, it will be to a team who will pay him more than we can offer. I've no idea whether he fits into Hughes' own plans or not but the real decision will rest with Cookie and whether somebody else will pay him more for the next couple of years. I have an inkling that we'll miss out.

Agree on both. The style and overall quality of the squad just isn't good enough. I think Lewis, and the defence generally (especially Stubbs) are ok. But we need to be more direct and aggressive, and we need much more pace and quality up front for next season.

He's turned himself into a versatile player, i think he's also 8th in the assists column. He never gets injured, playing nearly 40 games minimum each season and doesn't rely on non existent pace. At this level in the right environment, he will get you the goals needed for a tilt at promotion. As you allude to it depends what Cook is looking for, could be the length of contract as opposed to the salary. One things for sure goal scorers don't come cheap.
