If we had got a point tonight Walker could have had a rest on Monday

Although I've already paid up I'm not sure I can put up with this inept management team for another season .....

Not long in and I’m fecking fuming

Yet again a dog shit first half where we couldn’t string 2 passes together or have a decent shot on goal, and give away 2 criminal goals

Second half grab game by scruff of the neck and haul us level, absolute elation and thought we’d score a few more. Then the momentum is dashed due to the stoppage caused by the dick heads near the away fans, throwing pyro’s on the pitch etc

Yet again another clown of a ref, but we know the quality of officiating is god awful in this league and always has been so that’s no excuse

My heart sunk when I saw Eisa was starting, a fecking awfully weak player who bottles everything in front of him. Get shut of him, bastard liability

Then to top it all off, J26 of the M62 is shut with no warnings, so a 20 min detour. Honestly it has been a shite night following Bradford Shitty, what a bloody contrast to Saturday

Stick the play offs up your arse city, this team have zero bottle or nous to win them. And I hope Stockport pip Northampton to 3rd, just for all their saltiness after we beat them the other day

Just back. Well that was a night that virtually mirrored City’s season.

Playing with intent, then get suckered by their first goal. Stubbs caught for pace, but also a great strike.

After that we lost impetus. Didn’t really bother/test their 18 year old keeper.

Second goal again down our right, driven low cross and a steady finished.

    Half time.

We regroup. Play with intent. Get the corner. Smallwood excellent drive in, Cookie with a Monster of a header.

    The ground is rocking.

Crewe are on the ropes. Wave after wave attack. Walker drives it emphatically into the net. We are up to take them to the cleaners.

Idiots down the far end set off more smoke bombs, looks like incursions onto the side of the pitch, police involved. Game halted.

We lose our momentum. Game becomes bitty and Lewis has to pul off some decent saves, Crewe certainly haven’t given up.

Disjointed as City become slightly desperate. Tangle of players. Couldn’t see what actually happens. Penalty given they score. Whistle goes within seconds. It is like that, if the game ends 30 seconds earlier, we would have had the draw!

To add to the hurt, the bloody M56 was shut!

How I saw it - inclusive of the M56 shenanigans too!

Pretty criminal losing that after working our way back into the game.

And whether people like it or not that pyro/aggro halted all momentum. Crewe were shaking and at that stage their keeping was fumbling everything and looked a rabbit in the headlights. So, so annoying. City need to get a grip of that element.

Just got back to Bradford from the game. My take on tonights proceedings:
First goal : Haliday was no where to be seen, left Stubbs isolated. Stubbs is a sound defender, but his pace is a big issue an that was on full showing in that 1 on 1. I was sat behind the goal, closer to the Crewe stand so from my point of view, I think Lewis should of closed him down an narrowed the angle. Id say Lewis an Haliday are primarily to blame for that goal

Second goal : Haliday gets done by his man, Neither Crichlow nor Ridehalgh are marking the striker.

Third goal : Haliday fecks up his clearance, results in Crewe countering, an somehow getting the pen. Doesn't matter if Smallwood fouled the Crewe attacker, they scored straight after anyways

I said this at the start of the season, Our full backs would be our down fall. An its sadly been proved correct. I dont rate either Halliday or Ridehalgh, they have a good game here or there but they're too limited to play well in a formation which emphasises the attacking use of full backs

Eisa was awful as well. That left side was a liability all game.

People say that January wasnt a decent window, but we brought in Stubbs, who was our best defender. Clayton, who has proved to be our most consistent midfielder, an Derbyshire, who's the only bit of quality up front, minus Cook

The option of wingers however is one for grave concern. They've all been shit

Joke of a performance. Did so well to get back into the game an fecked it up by letting Crewe back into it. We arent gonna win the play offs, even if we do get into it, so Im really not bothered about Monday

    onwards to next season

Needing to get a result on the last day of the season just to secure a playoff spot whilst having a 30 goal striker at our disposal is a poor indictment of how this season has panned out.

I'm not saying Hughes out or anything but finishing outside the top three in this league is a massive underachievement.

Terrible ref should have let play continue before giving penalty.

We are in a 45 game season and if you listen to Hughes and Gillead interview tonight you would think the season is just started,we haven’t learned nothing.

A sign tonight that should be clearly obvious to Hughes is that this side is devoid of pace.

Every player was second best to their opponent pace wise and it showed just how much we lack.

We have nobody to chase a ball in behind, turning defenders. Nobody to get us up the pitch and take the pressure off, all the back four are like they are runnning in the proverbial treacle.

    We are embarrassingly slow.

A whole new left side is need in the some. Eisa and Osadebe were a joke, neither player knew where the ball was on 99% of the time, it was either stick between their feet or bouncing off their shins. Pair of them (along with Nevers and Costello) are nowhere near promotion material.

He behaved like a *@?$ at the end but we could do a lot worse than having their number 7 on our left next year

I was thinking the same about that player then I imagine he would cost a fee and when do we pay for quality but if we want to go forward we must start getting players like him.

Watching Orient highlights of their last few games, they will cut through us if we're not careful. I wouldn't advocate trying to defend all game because the nerves will get the better of us, but we need to be solid in the middle.

Boy, it’s going to be really tough on Monday. Really big job to pick the players up after that last night. Far too many late goals conceded this season. Lack of pace and guile evident again. I am still really fecked off with the pyro idiots. I’m afraid I can’t see fines or points deductions bothering them. Only banning individuals - but assume that’s going to difficult to identify them? The extra minutes cost us very dear.
Tbh, if we get a point on Monday I’d be very pleasantly surprised.

He was very good. No need to goad MH though. 28 and been around a bit. Product of the Everton youth academy. Talking of youth, I thought their centre midfield, Tabiner was also useful. He’s only 19.
